DJ M-EL, Melcon was the DJ at our wedding reception and he was fabulous! First of all he is very organized and he guides you through everything months before the wedding. He then followed up with us multiple times before the wedding to insure that we do not forget about anything. He used fillable documents which guided us through the entire wedding reception timeline and helped us make crucial decisions not just about the playlists but also about the actual reception planning. So if you're not sure what you're doing you don't really need a wedding planner you just need Melcon. Secondly, he was amazing on the day of. He arrived well in advance of us and everyone else and he setup everything. The guests were impressed by his selection of lounge music before the grand entrance. Before the entrance the music was great and the volume was perfectly setup to create a nice atmosphere that allowed the guests interact and to also enjoy the tasteful background music. We had some very demanding guests and they were all very happy. Lastly, Melcon was exceptional at and after the grand entrance. I don't think I had ever seen a wedding where so many people danced at all times. He of course provided some pauses for guests to enjoy the dinner and drinks, but other then that everyone was partying. He integrated our song selections with his own playlist of amazing songs based and all the transitions were perfect. In sum, if you're planning any type of an event, do not hesitate for a second. This review is long overdue! I found DJ M-EL (Mel) through yelp after searching far and wide for a DJ for my engagement party back in October of 2021. It was 2 months out and I was shocked that I finally found someone that was available and with such great reviews. My fiance and I are big music heads (my fiance being a DJ and producer as well), so music was a very key element at our celebration. It was important for us to have a DJ that had a wide range of genres under his belt and could also read the crowd with ease. Not to mention, we're Armenian, so someone that knows all the good (and bad) party music of our culture was a must. After speaking with Mel on the phone, I was confident that I found the right guy! Mel met with both of us, listened to our particular requests, and even gave his own insight, which was really helpful. He has an app that he uses for all his clients, which allows you to plan out a timeline, share playlists, note your must-plays, and your do-not plays. This was an extremely useful and professional tool, as it allowed us to keep our requests organized. Mel was our wedding DJ in September with 325 guests. When we were shopping around for DJ's he quickly gave me a quote and mentioned he preferred to meet in person to get more information.
