I would give this company zero stars if I could because of the complete and total lack of willingness to not only answer specific questions, but also unwilling to meet with clients face-to-face. Maybe it was just this client. When I brought up the importance of making face-to-face contact due to the unique layout of the venue, the schedule of our reception, and offering to provide the music that we specifically wanted played, I was told, "We do a final phone meeting as the date approaches to go over all details on the wedding DJ questionnaire. Everything we need to know is on the wedding DJ questionnaire and any questions we have we go over on the outline we type out such as layout of event, times, music, etc. This is how we operate and we do everything by phone and email. We have a system in place and it has worked for us for eleven years. Unfortunately I don't think we can accommodate what you are looking for but we wish you the best on your big day! It gives me the impression that they have a plan in mind for someone's big day and the opinion or concerns of the Bride and Groom don't matter. Avoid this company. I just want to state I am torn with how to review this company. I do wish I would have went with more experienced mature guys. These guys were sweet and nice, but still young college boys that at times didn't have a filter yet (photo booth person). The dj was sweet/ quiet,but I had to tell him when to cut music and kind of guide him. At the end he came to me advising he wasn't sure how to get people out to dance :( I guess I was cutting corners here and if I could have done it again I'd go with someone who has more experience and interacted with the crowd. So unprofessional! I called shortly after being engaged in September. I was told I had to wait until November when the DJ's contracts would be renewed after the wedding season settled down. I called the first day in November, and was told I would have to wait another week because they were just starting to renew the contracts and should be done within the week. I was told to submit my wedding information and request a contract through their website. I did this, and before the end of the week I was contacted by Saxon through email saying our date was filled already. She claims it was a miscommunication but it was most definitely not. Had I known our date was booked when I first called in September, I would have contacted other DJ companies. I never ever write reviews, but felt I had to because of this poor service! Oh and by the way, my brother used their company last year for his wedding and we loved our DJ. I'm sure the DJs are great, but Saxon is rude and unprofessional. We were lucky enough to find DJ Crashers for our wedding we had back in June. From the beginning of our first consultation, these guys were an absolute step above all the other vendors we had to deal with for our ceremony/reception. We did a phone call about a week or so prior to the event and I was very impressed with the thorough detail with which they went over everything with us. They had absolutely everything figured out perfectly, for the planning of the songs, the events, everything. They showed up right on time and set everything up (sound and photobooth). Our DJ did an excellent job throughout the night and was totally professional. Honestly, these guys were one of the highlights of our wedding planning/execution process. PROS: *Provide a consultation. *Play/Do-Not-Play List. *Reviewed all import names. *All requested songs were ready. *Affordable *Nice Lighting *DJ checked in with bride frequently. *Guests loved the photo booth CONS: *Refused to tell me the name of my DJ before hand. *Quoted several different prices for *Lack of documentation from correspondence. *Played a song about a baby falling out a window during the Anniversary Dance, despite being assured it wouldn't be played. *Disregarded my request for another set of monitors due to an outdoor reception. As a result the toasts went largely unheard... *Do not accept credit cards While I have experienced worse, I would not recommend their services again. DJ Crashers seems like a good up-and-coming business, but I'd verify the service you are getting and which DJ will be working your particular function. They have a large number of DJs to choose from so don't assume it's either of the co-owners. I had spoken with Saxon Majeske on Monday and he confirmed their service of a DJ and Photo both for their promotional special of $1000. He stated he would send me a contract that night. The following afternoon they informed me they were over-booked and would not be able to provide a photo booth. A DJ would be available, but there was only one left to choose from and it was his cousin. Again, nothing overall terrible to say... I would just be cautious of a business growing so quickly. Hired this company for the photo booth. We were told to pay them after the event. Shortly after our event started, this kid was sweating me about payment. We had two checks. I gave the kid the check for $450 and told him he would get the $90 at the end of the night once the job was completed. The kid kept sweating me all nignt and ruined my night. These guys were amazing, I worked with at least 5 of them personally over the course of the wedding planning process and they were extremely helpful and on top of their game. I had a few special requests, and unique songs that i wanted planned at my reception, the biggest was the Honor my late mother dance that we did, and they didn't question why i wanted that done at all or anything like that. They heard what I wanted and they made it happen. Norman was our DJ for the reception and he was amazing. He was on a mission to get people up on the dance floor and he never lost any steam when the guests began getting lazy lol. Everybody at my wedding also LOVED the photobooth!!!! Highly Highly recommended. You get a Digital copy of all the photobooth photos taken at the end of the night and trust me some of my family and friends wont be able to live their photos down they were so funny. Definitely put them on your must meet with list. Only negatives I have about them was they don't take credit/debit cards, and there were a few times I heard them make some rude comments about other clients during my final meeting with them, but other then that I never had any problems whatsoever. read more

We had our wedding on March 12th at Indian wood golf and country club. They recommended dj crashers so we did some research and went with them. Dj Mike was our dj and we couldn't have had a better time. He was organized, played the best music and kept everyone dancing all night. I have so many things to say about DJ crashers. We used them for DJ services, photo booth and photography. I don't care how much money a bride wants to save, it is not worth the horrible, unprofessional, and rude service we were given. We used them for photography mainly because I am not big into picture taking and I'm usually not picky. I was hoping for maybe 10 good photos of my husband and I and casual, candid pictures of my family and friends. Doesn't seem too unreasonable. We met with the photographer a year before the wedding and I liked her very much and saw her pictures online. A WEEK before the wedding we had our final meeting and found out the photographer was switched on us. We were NEVER informed. Even when the new photographer walked in they never said anything. His name is Kris, one of the owners. He was very nice. But we found out during the wedding that he must have almost no experience taking photos. He didn't direct my family or help organize pictures at all. I didn't get a picture with my own mother. I didn't get the ONE PHOTO i requested, which was a picture of my husband as I walked down the aisle. Then weeks after our wedding when the photos were available, we got 200 photos in the mail. 200. That's it. 75% of which are too horrible to show anyone. Most brides come out with over 200 good photos from their wedding. Also DJ crashers does not release unedited photos (which wasn't in their contract and never communicated to us). We were told to our faces about 3 times we would get every photo from the wedding. This was a lie apparently. Kris was too lazy to edit photos so I guess they don't have to release any more. I have A LOT more to say. But I think this is enough to make my point. Needless to say, they single-handedly ruined the memories I hoped to have from our wedding. I'm begging any bride to reconsider using them. read more

Saxon, We all can't thank you enough for the amazing job you and your staff did at our daughter Lauren's wedding on Saturday. The uplighting was beautiful and added so much to the room. Everyone had such a blast with the Photo booth and if there was a group of us the person running the booth made sure we all got copies of the pictures. We had so much fun downloading all of the pictures and looking at them the next day. What a great keepsake. My Wedding took place last December, we chose this company to perform services at our wedding. We signed a contract many months in advance and even sent in a deposit. I was contacted through multiple text messages about the contract, they were changing the contract and wanted all the money up front. This put up a red flag! My contract stated that I could pay they rest of monies due the day of my wedding. After the frustration of texting someone who knew nothing of my contract I was contacted by the mom of the owner. She was at home bathing her other son while trying to recall my specific contract. I tried my hardest to make sure they would stay true to the contract, and after much aggravation, over the course of three days, she offered to meet me at her house in Lake Orion, to accept my money, which was no where near my venue! Then after I complained more, she said she'd meet me at my venue! I cancelled! I couldn't trust her, she was trying to void a contract before my actual event!
