After the ceremony, Ruben's personality kept everyone engaged and things moving forward when the rest of us had no idea what to do. He saved the day before the event even started with our last minute lighting and power needs, then saved it again during our wedding by making sure we stayed on track. But Ruben is a DJ, let's talk about that! His music was on point at all times. He perfectly read the crowd from the background music during dinner, to the opening music when literally everyone was dancing (even the old folks), to when only the hardcore young'ns remained. The music always matched the crowd and Ruben knew exactly when to come in and prevent a lull. Any event where I need a DJ, DJ Big Ru will always be who I call.

I was hesitant to go so big, but they and my wife were sure it was worth it for that guest count. They absolutely delivered, and all the guests raved about the band. Rob was calm and organized, even though we had quite a few special "surprise" music moments he needed to be prepared for. He even managed to steer us away from a song we were considering, knowing that our family had back-channeled directly to him to use that song for a special surprise moment for us. In fact, he even helped us chase down extra photos and videos of that moment when we realized we didn't have good recordings of it, but saw that one of his people was getting a good recording. OTB was great with special request and also with their bread-and-butter entertaining. Bravo! My only constructive criticism is that the after-party DJ (who we also hired through OTB) was not aware of what songs the band had played during the reception.
