Another reason, why are their flowers so sad looking and look dead? Would it hurt to take care of them, water them & deadhead them?? Also some looked like they were "sick" with fungus & aphids! I asked the short guy working there behind the cash register why does it look like some of the petunias have aphids? He mockingly laughed & said "petunias don't get aphids" ..uh, yes they certainly do "mr.expert", you can even google it! I ended up going to Home Depot & I SHOULD HAVE WENT THERE FIRST! Much better selection, healthy looking, better service & BETTER PRICING!!

My-oh-my; I walked into a small quiet oasis filled with many different and pretty plants I had ever seen. The nursery was fully temperate to maximize the best growth of these delicate flowers and plants. No staff were around to answer any questions or asked if I needed anything; so I took my time walking around this warm nursery. Potted plants are moderately priced and plants conditions are well maintained. Although, I didn't make any purchase, I still enjoyed my walk around this place.

This year came back and bought a couple of lovely plants along with the tree. Grateful for this lovely neighborhood business. Also, can I just say re the other reviews....like there are literally apps for that and Google. The fact you blaming people in this moment for recognizing a market need but not having a phd in that market is epitome capitalism. You found a plant now you figure out how to help it live (I can't figure it out lol). But seriously do you expect the folks at H&M or Uniqlo to know how to care for your cashmere or merino wool? TF do you think this is?

This spot replaced the jewelry shop that was there prior maybe 5 years ago? It's small inside,…read morethat's all I remember unfortunately! The outside is always decorated with a selection of their plants, anywhere from Japanese Maple Trees to potted Bonsai trees, succulents, and herbs. My mom is obsessed with plants and says their selection is good and of good quality, but a bit pricey. But you get what you pay for! Plus it's local to the neighborhood, which is always nice. Only drawback was that I stopped to look at a cactus for a few seconds and a shop attendant kind of hovered over me outside the entire time. She offered me a nicer version of the one I was looking at, which was nice, but she was a little pushy lol. My mom also mentioned that the one time she entered the store with some family, they were followed by the attendant and kind of harped on. Guess they take a very hands on approach to sales and up selling. Regardless, I'd probably buy some plants from them in the future, as long as I can get the space I need to make a decision lol. Some prices I saw today if you need a point of comparison: - Spider Plant: $8 for small-medium pot. According to my mom, our certified Steve Irwin of house plants, this is a bit pricey. Amazon shows similar prices & you have the benefit of supporting a small local business & getting your plant instantly & being able to check out the quality in person. Seems fine to me! - Small Succulents/Cacti: 1 for $4 or 2 for $7. Cute & trendy, everyone's got one so you might as well too! (Not judging you, I swear! I am also on this same band wagon lol). Quick google search shows that the price seems right. They looked to be in fairly good condition as well. Will update this review after I've purchased a plant or two

Last Friday, M&D Landscaping came to remove a tree in my neighbor's yard, and the aftermath has…read morebeen a nightmare. Massive branches were dropped directly into our backyard, and the workers made no effort to clean them up. My elderly landlord ended up clearing the mess himself because he didn't want us to deal with it -- and in doing so, he injured himself. Today, I came home to find even more damage. The crew returned for a second day of work and left wood shavings scattered across our yard. More disturbingly, our fence is now broken, and there are dismantled fence posts and debris all over the garden. Our own beloved crab apple tree seems in danger of being irreparably damaged. Once again, no cleanup, no communication, and no accountability. When my upstairs neighbors attempted to speak to the crew on Friday, they were met with rudeness and complete dismissal. This company showed zero professionalism, care, or respect for neighboring property. If you care about your home or that of your neighbors, avoid M&D Landscaping.
