Pricing for repairs is totally out of control there. I looked around Naples to find someone with experience repairing Volvos and doing a good job at a fair price. I reached out to Artem, the owner of Naples Mechanics, and he offered a very fair priced estimate for the AC compressor work that I needed done. It's a shop that is owner operated by Artem and he is quick to respond to online queries and phone calls. He ordered the parts (which he says have a lifetime guarantee) and had me in and out in a couple of days over a busy Holiday weekend. The AC is nice and cold again, the car is running quiet and smooth as ever. All at a cost of about half of what the dealership quoted me. That is literally a couple thousand dollars of savings on this one repair alone! Looking forward to using this garage for all my Volvo servicing needs/repairs going forward. Thanks, Artem! When I returned home I pulled the dipstick and the oil was obviously not fresh. I called to point out the mistake, but they doubled down and the mechanic confirmed it was done. So I found Naples Mechanics and took it there and they confirmed I was correct. While the car was on the lift, the owner also pointed out that the central arm bushings were shot and that the rear shocks were leaking. I had been taking my car to the previous place for the past 5 years, so they had plenty of opportunities to identify these issues (I only do very low mileage each season), so I opted to have the work done by Naples Mechanics and was very pleased with the work done.

So after the oil change I drove to the main location on Domestic to have the tire repaired. I was told that I would have to wait about an hour for them to get to it for repair. I had no problem since I drove in without an appointment. As I was sitting in the waiting room, I noticed how nice and professional they handled their customers. Well after about an hour the nice lady working the front called my name and apologized for me having to wait an hour. That the tech working on my tire could not find a leak !!-- that the whole problem was found when he put the valve stem cap back on and that is when he heard air coming out !! I had a bad valve stem cap !!! She apologized again and said "no charge" !!! I gave her some "cross Pennie's" I made for her young family. She just had another baby girl about a year ago. Towed a vehicle without appropriate signage on property. 2. After finally getting their information from the property management it was impossible to get a hold of them for 3 days. No voice mail, text messages not returned, no call back, nothing. According to FL law they need to answer calls 24 hours 7 days a week and provide the vehicle back within 1 hour of customer request. 3. No notification of Police Department within 30 min. Long story short, they charged me $323 for not being able to recover my vehicle for 3 days, as they do not answer their number. I have filed with the BBB and am also filing a lawsuit for predatory towing practices with Morgan & Morgan. I attempted to be reasonable with the owner and offered to pay for the towing, just wanted a discount on the storage fees as it was not my fault that they wouldn't follow the law and allow me to pickup my vehicle within 1 hour of request. He was extremely rude and told me to get lost and it wasn't his problem. I had a printout of Florida Chapter 715 underlined all 3 ways his company was breaking the law, he told me that wasn't true and refused to even look at the document.
