My husband called back when it was convenient for us, and they told us they had already delivered the flowers. We checked our porch and house, there was nothing. My husband called back again, and finally they found our order. They delivered it that afternoon. The "bouquet" was full of filler, baby's breath and a few nicer flowers. For what my mother-in-law paid, it should have been the other way around. To top things off, the basket it arrived in had a grid bottom: Perfect for florists, it had zero value to us after the flowers had died (after a whopping 7 days). In comparison, my friend from Texas sent flowers from 1-800 Flowers and they were gorgeous. They lasted nearly 3 weeks and had zero filler. Do yourself a favor, order from somewhere else: Your recipient will get nicer flowers and you won't pay an arm and a leg.

Spent tons of time with me talking about native plants and providing recommendations. They even helped me load my plants, and gave me a few free vegetables. I highly recommend this place if your looking for unique, good quality plants with a sales staff that truly cares about plants and their customers.

Not only was I told once myself, but I've observed it told to others as well in the same short, irritated manner, "We're sellers, not growers!" I know, crazy expectation... That a "garden center" might know something about the plants sold there. If you do just sell, that's fine. But, there has to be a more polite way to tell people other than implying they're twits for asking about the products you sell. They helped contracting for and planning around this event so easily. A group of us (friends/classmates) came for a get-away retreat from the city, and the entire time, we were in awe. Nothing can beat the space itself (vast, lots of room to hike, bonfire, yoga; we even had a track&field style relay in the backyard). The rooms were nice, spacious, and comfortable. There was a lot of sitting room/smaller living rooms, so we could all take time to be in smaller groups if we wanted to. The game rooms and movie theaters were wonderful and kept us occupied all weekend. The kitchen is marvelous, and we just kept cooking all weekend because we were so obsessed. We played trivia while drinking wine in the sitting room/family room with the fireplace. Above all, Keith and Devin are great hosts. They were onsite (in a different building, so it was enough distance to give us privacy but not too far and were always available if we had questions), responsive, and understanding. I contacted Keith some time in December of 2023 to learn more about the space, and while we had other options, the clear respect and compassion Keith exuded for me as a potential guest and the passion and excitement he had for the space really drew me in. He even offered a group tour before signing the contract. I trusted him entirely, and he was absolutely so generous and fair throughout the whole process. We're coming back in less than three months because our time there was simply magical. It's hard to admit, but part of me hopes it stays a hidden gem just for us to enjoy. Yet, deep down, I know that anyone who discovers this place will feel as blessed as we did. I truly wish for others to experience the joy and tranquility that we found there.

Two service calls and received excellent service both times…read more My most recent service call was yesterday, February 18. As you know, temperatures were close to zero. Around 4:00 I determined our Amana furnace must not be working. Placed a call to Farley's at 4:12. Service man came out, diagnosed the problem and had to return to the shop to get the part. By 5:30 the furnace was fixed and working properly. Office personnel and service man were very helpful and courteous. I'm sure the service call will be costly, however, a small price to pay at the end of the day with subzero temperatures. Any service call would be expensive. The other service call to Farley's was around 1/23/25 regarding my Maytag washer. Because we like to shop local, we purchased the washer & dryer from our local dealer Knie Appliance, you know the one that always asks you prior to service, "did you buy the appliance here"? Very annoying. You either service or you don't. I told them the code and the issue I was encountering. Because Knie had already replaced a part in October, I felt it may be the same issue. (This call to Knie was around 1/21/25.) Knie told me they would not be able to schedule a service call until the following week. (What?) I was leaving on vacation that weekend for two weeks and could not leave family members here without a washer. I called Farley Appliance and they sent a service guy out. He actually tested the bad part and removed it from the washer but did not have a part with him, and had returned to the shop to check stock. Before Farley's were able to get back with me, my husband called Knie himself and they ultimately came out same day, tested the part that Farley's removed and confirmed it was bad, and fixed the washer. I'm not sure what my husband said but I could tell that the service man that came, who also had come in October and was very pleasant, was not happy this go around. I had to call Farley's back and say it has been fixed by their competitor. Mind you, the office staff who took the call was very understanding and again, courteous. Farley's is actually located about 12 miles away, and although I told them it was okay for them to bill me for the trip and work they had already done, they never sent me a bill. This whole situation was uncomfortable for me at best but Farley's made it less uncomfortable and it is appreciated. This is service as I remember it should be. We already had some dealings with Farley's in the past as we had replaced the microwave that was purchased with the house. At some point in the future, I will be buying a new refrigerator and I will be making the purchase at Farley's. I anticipate we will also be investing in a new furnace and A/C, and plan to shop at Farley's as well. We now have to consider the service aspect in all purchases because, unfortunately, material things no longer last for any extended period of time. Farley's provides great service; we have had nothing but a positive experience with them.
