History
Established in 2017.
I was running one of the oldest musical instrument stores in the country in Fairbanks, Alaska called "Music Mart" and I had a strong feeling I should sell everything I had and move to St. George, UT. I knew nothing of this place, and when I showed up with my wife and dog in my old motor home to the area, I had $20 in my pocket. I wanted to get involved in the musical scene here in St. George, but it has taken me a year and a half to get to the point to where I could make my contribution. I have to thank my parents for supporting me in starting my business, which i hope will become an integral part of the St. George infrastructure, and I hope to gain the trust of this wonderful community over time. Meet the Business Owner: Jonny W.
My name is Jonny Wood, and I love music- especially playing music outside in nature. I didn't start playing guitar until I was 16- at which time I also started doing multi track recording. By age 18 I completely stopped playing other people's music and went into improvisation. I was spending every spare moment either playing guitar or recording and editing music. I started working at Pro Music Alaska at age 25, after which Music Mart in Alaska offered me a position, and then i ran Music Mart, moved to California- working in pro audio in Concord, CA Guitar Center, then worked as a guitar tech and in management in Chico, CA guitar center, moved to Hawaii and worked in Easy Music Center in Honolulu, moved back to Alaska and ran Music Mart again, and then moved to St. George Utah recently. I have personally set up and repaired thousands of instruments in every tuning imaginable. I specialize in helping you get the best gear you can get for the budget you are on. Rock St. George!
