Be careful dealing with these people. You will get exactly what you ask for. So no reminder call.. Said I requested no reminder calls when actually I requested no sales or reminder calls the day of the payment. What happens. No call at all. Lied said I talked to them. Still had an old number on the account. No way I had talked to them and said I would be in when you have said I requested no reminder calls. Now I have to pay an extra $29 late fee. It will be worth it to submit another rating for this company. The former manager was promoted (rightfully so). I miss her. read more

I went to the H&R Block office on 4403 Queens Blvd In Sunnyside, NY 11104. Ju Young Kim graciously gave me a seat and finished my Federal and NY State filings in about 30 minutes. She actually found a larger refund for me than I received last year, and she made the whole process incredibly easy. She also used a coupon to give me a discount on the preparation fee. I was so happy. I wish I had started using H&R Block years ago. I will definitely be back and ask for Ms. Kim to take care of me. She was so nice, so professional and so efficient. H&R Block made an error on my 2019 tax return. I caught the error the day of but due to C19 the error could not be rectified on the spot. I called up H&R Block and notified them the day of about the error they made. They could not correct the issue because they had already sent my tax package forward. Little did I know how much of a headache this would be. I completely lost out on my state taxes due to their error and i am still paying penalties due to Govt delays. I made contact with H&R Block about the issue and they refuse to rectify the issue due to me losing my 2019 tax package. It's even on file that I had peace of mind and they made the error but they refuse to help me. I would not recommend this business. They steal your money and they are incompetent.
