He specializes in Family Law, but more fitting, he specializes in metal game playing, manipulation, and minimizing any responsibility toward your case, or representation. Doing nothing while BS with a lot of rhetoric. Once you've paid your retainer, if you try to terminate his services, he'll be sure to destroy your reputation with any future attorney so that your burried in shit hearsey. He has no empathy what so ever for you or your children, and is jaded about life, keeping little miniature car toys in his office to tinker with, possibly due to a past dysfunctional childhood of his own. He will speak softly, and dress professionally, but don't be deceived of his competency in looking after your child's or your best interest. I am a teacher, no criminal record, or abuse history, but he managed to completey paint a picture favoring the opposing party and putting me in a riduculous light without any factual basis. You will be set up to look bad, or add to the discrediting of your character by his poor advice, or leading of advice without actually taking responsibility for such advise since he knows how to manipulate or use an agent to set you up. It is as if he's been hired by the other party, helping the other attorney in guiding them to completely flip the case around. He enjoys that challenge, to turn everything upsidedown, create chaos, and disaster. My daughter at age 9 1/2 was taken from me, her only parent present throughout her entire childhood, her school, the only family she knew, state, friends, and court ordered not to speak her home language, though she was bilingual. Her father had never been present, and ran away, until child support began to be garnished around my daughter's 4th birthday. This attorney Seymour Rose is sick, has so many personl problems, that it gets in the way of any kind of impartial representation toward a female, or children. I ended with zero visitation because the court order was written in such a way that the reality of it cannot be exercised. Supposedly, I have zero visitation because I'm suppose to have joint physical custody, but father is in another State, and does not let me see my child. Father does not answer phone and will call police if I make any attempt to see her, which I did shortly after losing custody, and ended with a restraining order, which I did not see coming. This was done to force me to move out of State? Though, Mr. Rose never explained how my leaving my job, becoming unemployed, etc. would benefit the best interest of my daughter. My daughter's father never visited, or paid any support until she was almost 4 years old. After my trauma of being put in jail twice (not abiding by court order), great debt, complete defamation of character (because that's what he really specializes in, painting a completely false picture), I chose to just pay child support until my daughter is 18. Oh! I lost custody, legally, based on the fact that Mr. Rose did not show up in court on the day of my hearing when custody was to be decided. HE and opposing attorney had managed to switch judges, and make sure that the judge did not continue the case, or allow me to have a voice without representation. The judge stated that "Mr. Rose had briefed him on the case that morning and asked to be dismissed from representing me," which I had no knowledge of, until the actual court proceedings. There is no due process in FAMILY LAW, if you end up with an unethical, sick, attorney. His swing/mental trip is toying with you as a client. If you have a fear of abuse, and he knows it, he'll be sure to abuse you. If your concern is that you get child support, he'll be sure to eliminate any child support, or get you the minimum. But, it will come as a surprise! Because he is a liar, and knows the system, and how to lie so that you can't discredit him, as he's already started that process to discredit you. I hope this information is helpful to anyone thinking of employing such unscrupulous, unethical, attorney who uses his expertise against you. He appears to especially have an affinity toward sabotaging women, and hurting them which, unfortunately, I discovered later. Oh! And, his office is full of his relatives, so don't think because you have his son-in-law as your attorney, it will be any different...birds of a sick feather...hope this helps anyone needing representation.
