Their patient and loving approach to early childhood education has left me deeply impressed. My son has grown by leaps and bounds and I'm excited to see what his continued education at this unique school will do for him as he matures. The class sizes are small and the campus is amazingly situated in picturesque downtown Ft. Pierce. Tuition is affordable and they accept Step Up for Students as well. The headmistress Mandy Doss is attentive and seems to know every child by name. This is the kind of family environment you just won't get in public school or even larger private schools. It seems every other week there's a fun event, activity, or field trip that keeps the kids engaged and us parents involved and able to participate hands-on. We're over the moon with our SAEA experience and hope to keep our boy (and subsequent kids!) there all through grade 12. Thank you, SAEA, for making this an easy choice to be proud of!

Having two younger BLACK siblings who have been attending this academy for going on four years now, I am appalled by this behavior. They will not be going. I will happily make recommendations for more appropriate field trip ideas, since the school clearly has ran out of them.

Aristidis was the first Orthodox priest I ever spoke to. He and the parish are truly like a family and they made my family feel welcomed when we started attending services. For years I drove past this Church on my way to work and just assumed that it was an exclusively Greek Church, yet my assumptions were wrong. Fr. Aristidis speaks multiple languages and conducts the services in English, Spanish, and Greek; making the Church feel like a uniquely local "Miami-an" Orthodox experience. You will find people from all different kinds of nationalities at this parish and will surely feel the love of Christ. My family has since moved to the other side of the swamp (Naples), and one of the things we miss the most from Miami is this parish; so much so that we still make the effort to visit as often as we can. If you are in the Miami area and are inquiring into Orthodoxy, I highly recommend that you visit St. Andrew's. You won't find many people having "theological" conversations and you won't find a lot of the talking points that you do online, but what you will find is the love of Christ and it will change you forever.

I knew she would do best in a small, nurturing setting - a place where teachers and administrators would know and understand each child as an individual. I searched and didn't have much hope in finding such a place in Miami. I looked online and found a school I had never heard of - Allison Academy. I called right away and made an appointment to meet Dr. Sarah Allison the very next day. The moment I met Dr. Allison, I knew I had found what I was looking for. Dr. Allison is warm, nurturing and experienced in educating children at the middle school and high school levels. After a tour of the charming school and the chance to sit in during some classes, we arranged for my daughter to visit. She was tentative about going back to school, but once she spent some time here and realized she would have all the support and guidance of wonderful teachers and Dr. Allison, she began again. Not only has my daughter gained a new confidence in herself and her view of school, but she has become a happier child, has made some new friends and regained her old spirit. I am so grateful for the teachers who have given her the desire to learn again.

This school advertises itself as "bullying-free", but is it really? I've been bullied to the point where one time, I was groped in the locker room by a boy. And you know what happened? NOTHING! LITERALLY NOTHING! No calling home, nothing! Second, the staff. Oh my god, where do I start? The assistant principal is a awful vile woman. She doesn't do her job well enough and is rude. I'll ask her a simple question, and she will treat me like i'm a stupid idiot. The lady that you give your phone to? Yeah, she has said to me right in my face that she doesn't like me. This is a grown woman. GROWN WOMAN. And what did the assistant principal do? Fucking nothing. She didn't do ANYTHING! If you are considering this hellhole that calls itself a school for your kid, don't do it. It's a bad idea, and you will suffer with the consequences.

The superintendent does not take accountability when she's wrong and chooses to ignore concerns rather than address them. Teachers have lied about students, including my own 3-year-old, which was very troubling and unacceptable. Since my son started at this school, I've faced constant problems. The financial department clearly cares more about collecting money than about the students. I was supposed to be reimbursed for a payment, but despite ongoing communication, they never followed through. Instead, they took the amount directly from my security deposit. When I called to discuss this, the financial department representative yelled at me and hung up on me, which was extremely unprofessional. On top of the financial issues, my son did not learn anything meaningful while attending. The quality of teaching is poor, and I was not the only parent who felt this way. Other parents expressed the same concerns about the lack of learning and the unprofessional behavior of the staff and superintendent. In fact, one superintendent left and the other was fired due to issues with students and parents. Most of us ended up moving our kids to other schools because Boca Prep was not providing the education or environment our children deserved. This school is not beneficial for children, and parents should beware before enrolling their kids here. It's so bad they turned off Google reviews. They pay or incentivize parents to write nice reviews about them.
