The superintendent does not take accountability when she's wrong and chooses to ignore concerns rather than address them. Teachers have lied about students, including my own 3-year-old, which was very troubling and unacceptable. Since my son started at this school, I've faced constant problems. The financial department clearly cares more about collecting money than about the students. I was supposed to be reimbursed for a payment, but despite ongoing communication, they never followed through. Instead, they took the amount directly from my security deposit. When I called to discuss this, the financial department representative yelled at me and hung up on me, which was extremely unprofessional. On top of the financial issues, my son did not learn anything meaningful while attending. The quality of teaching is poor, and I was not the only parent who felt this way. Other parents expressed the same concerns about the lack of learning and the unprofessional behavior of the staff and superintendent. In fact, one superintendent left and the other was fired due to issues with students and parents. Most of us ended up moving our kids to other schools because Boca Prep was not providing the education or environment our children deserved. This school is not beneficial for children, and parents should beware before enrolling their kids here. It's so bad they turned off Google reviews. They pay or incentivize parents to write nice reviews about them.

We love this school SO much!! My daughters started in 2021 and they have had the most amazing…read moreexperience. Everyone at the school from the owners to the cafeteria staff and security guards genuinely love the children and all of the families. You can feel the difference when you are with them. The kids are so happy, the teachers are happy, the coaches are happy. Not that there is never a conflict but the kids are empowered to resolve their conflicts with consciousness and compassion for each other. I love the fact that everyone on the faculty knows every child's name (and usually something cool about them). Even the staff at a different campus will usually know all the siblings names no matter which campus they attend. I love the fact that my girls feel comfortable stopping anybody on the staff if they have an issue, a problem or even a suggestion. They know they will be heard and that their voices matter and that gives them the confidence to speak up. The kids have entrepreneurial classes and create pitch decks and have a shark-tank like presentation to parents to secure investors and then host their own marketplace where the run their own small businesses, many of them with innovative, self-made products. It's incredible!! I don't know if any school in the country that offers opportunities like this. The kids are blossoming into the most empowered versions of themselves while always considering their impact on the people and the world around them. Last year, this program started at 4th grade but the 3rd graders got so excited about it that this year the school included 3rd grade too and their businesses were amazing!! Now my 2nd grader who is too young for the program not only outsourced her sales skills to many of the businesses at the market place (and made great commissions!) but she also also decided to start her own business at home, wrote our her business plan, goals, did her research and made her own signage but she also went to the park and sold her crystals all by herself (I was just there supporting her) and made $73 on her first day. She is 8 and felt so proud of her hard work and dedication to her goals. I am one proud Mama And I haven't even mentioned the Regener8 farm where the school grows most of the food the children eat at school and the kids play a role in the planting and harvesting. They learn about nutrition and all the way to support the minds and bodies. Families can even purchase fruits and vegetables, eggs and honey for our homes. I could go on forever... My children and I are so happy I wish that every child could have this experience of being loved and supported as they grow

Moving from São Paulo to Miami with my family was already a big transition, especially since the…read moreacademic calendar is different in Brazil and the U.S. In December, I visited Centner Academy to enroll my daughter for the school year starting in February, which was what we had agreed upon. Everything seemed set. When I arrived in Miami in January, I contacted the school, and they requested that my daughter spend a full day there for observation and take a test. They also charged me a $200 fee for this process. After that day, they informed me that her enrollment would depend on the results of her interaction and test. At the end of the day, when I picked her up, they did not share the test results. Instead, they told me they would discuss internally and get back to us the following week. Over 10 days went by with no response, so I reached out again. Once more, they asked for more time, saying they needed to discuss further. This back-and-forth dragged on for over a month. During this time, my daughter stayed at home without schooling, waiting for a response. Finally, after constant follow-ups, they informed us that they would not accept her because her English was not strong enough and they lacked the resources to support her as a non-native speaker. I lost $200, wasted my time, and--worst of all--left my daughter without proper schooling for nearly two months. The school never called me in for a personal conversation, did not honor their promised timelines, and failed to communicate clearly. They also never shared the evaluation materials or results that supposedly led to their decision. If you're considering this school, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. They are neither accessible nor empathetic, and their lack of professionalism caused my family unnecessary stress during an already challenging time.
