I called ahead asking if they could turn a donut into a breakfast sandwich for my son's birthday (because moms be out here making magic happen ), and Kim didn't even hesitate, she said, "We sure can!" Then hit me with, "How long till you get here?" I said 20 minutes, and she said it would be ready when we walked in... and it absolutely was! Not only was it ready, but she remembered my name, greeted my son like he was the VIP of the day, and handed him his donut breakfast sandwich like it was a birthday crown. So we headed over early(ish) this morning to get the pick of the litter, got a Kronut (Never had one, it was really good), a few other donuts the wife wanted and the fritter. Divine Donuts was exactly what we were looking for! They had several donuts to choose from and many speciality donuts. We got a 1/2 dozen and tried the cinnamon roll donut. Everything was excellent. She welcomed us into the store where it smelled so nice, we weren't sure of which donuts to get and she let us take our time and was very sweet to us! However, I got there too early that they didn't have some flavors out and ready. Overall the donuts were very good. I highly recommend the apple fritter and a personal favorite is the captain crunch. I tried the Boston cream and the red velvet with cream cheese. Both were amazing! The Boston cream was squishy and soft with just the right amount of chocolate frosting. Interesting little doughnut shop. They had a lot of different flavors which is what helps them differentiate. I saw ones with all kinds of toppings like cinnamon toast crunch. We looked on Yelp and saw that this shop was close to where we were staying and on the way to our event. We stopped in early on a Sunday morning and it was pretty quiet. The racks were filled with a great selection of not your typical donuts. We picked up a dozen plus a 1/2 dozen of the kronut holes. They do have some fun donuts and it is way more interesting that just going to a chain donut place. I sampled a number of the donuts (or at least slices of some), and while not cheap, they were very good. About $25 for a dozen. Everyone at our event enjoyed the donuts! read more

Great staff! Employees that greeted me were all very friendly and courteous. Superb selection of delicious donuts! I chose two - the key lime pie and the red velvet chocolate iced! They were two of the best donuts I've had in a long time (don't make me pick my favorite, ha!)!! The coffee (help yourself to the side canisters) was very good as well. Pet friendly store too as a couple had their two 18 month old rescue English bulldogs (what cuties) with them while enjoying some great donuts. Note of interest, they're planning on opening a Cape Coral location next month (September, 2022). I came here for my birthday breakfast and was very impressed. It's a very quaint/small interior so most get their donuts to go. Get there early for the best selection and while the donuts are the freshest. We got there at 10:30am and it was still great! The ladies working were very sweet and even gave my son a sticker! This place was just as the title suggests, divine! The wide variety of donuts were made the selection difficult so we just took one or two of each! The wait time was very short and the wait staff was very friendly. We also order a breakfast sandwich that used a donut for the bun. I would strongly encourage that one! Great flavor and the sugary bun made it a perfect match. In addition to the breakfast sandwich, I had the strawberry fritter. I have never had one and this one made a HUGE impression! Seriously good donuts! I went here on a Sunday morning expecting the line to be out of the door. Surprisingly it was only a few minute wait. I was really pleasantly surprised by the overall selection of flavors. There was really everything there to satisfy anyone's craving! I ended up getting 3 (although my tummy probably wanted more like 12). I ended up getting a Cremé Brulé, Oreo Lover, and a Maple Bacon. All of them were delicious and addicting from first bite to last. I noticed immediately that there was a man who would be back and forth looking to see what donuts he needed to add and to check what was getting low. I appreciated that attention to detail. The store was also adorable. It's small, but great for its function. They also sell some awesome other hot items like sandwiches and biscuits & gravy on weekends only. High fives and hip hip hoorays for some truly original flavors, without being gimmicky. I mean, I'm down for pretzels sticking out of gummy worm donuts as much as the next do-bro, but sometimes it gets silly. Adored the subtle, fragrant banana icing with the chocolate drizzle, and was so excited to try it, it's the only Usual Suspect featuring a bite in the photo lineup. After reading reviews of this place and adding to my list months ago, I was so excited to see it was around the corner from where I was the other morning and open! Yay!!! I went in with high hopes, the bakery is clean and the staff seemed friendly, already a good sign! I got to the counter for my turn and selected an Apple fritter, I'm a huge fan of fritters, something about the contrast of textures and sweet apple reminds me of being a kid. We used to get the best Apple fritters from a local grocery store. Byways, I digress. About 5 minutes and $4 later, I was headed back to my car with my fritter, and rather than waiting to get there, I immediately dug in. My first bite was very dry, and not very sweet. Little did I know, this would be my best bite *cue sad face*. I tried two more bites before throwing it in the bin. The subsequent bites were extremely too sweet, like someone doubled the sugar in the recipe sweet and the apples were overly gooey and tasted like canned apple pie filling. Maybe my hopes were too high but they were crushed. I hate to waste food, especially donuts! All in all, I give them 3 stars as the staff were really great and they have a nice selection. We were around the College Parkway and McGregor Blvd. Divine Donuts pops up in my head for a sweet treat and quickly swing into the Walmart shopping plaza. Divine Donuts is a small shop sandwiched between Walmart and Harbor Freight Tools. It is small donuts shop with coffee and also serve simple breakfast and bagels. Maybe this is new, the facility is clean and decorated with some interesting pictures of you know what, donuts! Clearly, this is a family operated local business. Since this is our first time, we got a dozen with six different kind of donuts for a home taste test. Five kind of yeast donuts and one cake donut to go with coffee. Our comments for the donuts so far: French Toast Bacon Bar - Bacon bit on caramel donut Glazed Holland cream - Glazed donut with cream filled hole. Samoa - coconut and caramel - Girl Scout cookies on steroid. Boston Cream - good fill with custard cream. Powdered Lemon - fine but could use a little more lemon filling. Divine Oreo - Cake donut - cup cake like and filled with crème on the sweet side. All sampled donuts were on the sweet side as we expected this is our "sweet" treats. I am a yeast donuts fan but the Divine Oreo - a cake donut, is exceeded my expectation. It is moist and if you are a chocolate fan, this is for you! My personal favorite is Samoa, that coconut and caramel in that perfect, soft and fluffy donut just melt in your mouth. Don't need any milk to wash it down! Boston Cream came in closely second! The staff is friendly but we have a line formed so we did not have any background information about the owner(s). Notice that the shelf for kronut is empty! I (JH) woke up wanting donuts so I sent the text to JD and off we went to Divine. I grabbed some of our usual favorites in the Vanilla Churro, Chocolate Holland, and Maple but also tried some of their cereal donuts, specifically the Fruity Pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Crunch Berries. I also grabbed a coffee. I've had Divine's coffee before and vowed to never do it again. But now that we're reviewing places, I thought it was only fair to give it another shot. As usual, the donuts taste great. The Vanilla Churro is my particular favorite. The simplicity of it being essentially just a cake donut with cinnamon sugar and caramel yet somehow it's perfect every time makes my insides smile. The cereal donuts were all very good. Basically, if you like the cereal, you'll like the donuts. I'll be getting those again, for sure. The rest of the donuts were great, as is the norm at Divine, with the one exception being the Chocolate Holland. It's not that it isn't good, it's that it was undercooked. This has been an issue with the Chocolate Holland a number of times that I've gotten it at Divine and it's quite disappointing. We've brought it to their attention in the past and I know that the nature of this particular donut makes cooking it fully a little trickier due to the fact that there isn't a hole in the middle like most donuts. But at the same time, that's what people pay the experts for. Back to the coffee. I love coffee and was disappointed when I've had Divine's in the past. Today it was better. I did add creamer and sugar to it and I would say that it's "fine". Not bad, not great....but definitely drinkable. But I'm not going there for coffee. I'm going for the delicious donuts that have great flavors and are usually fried to a perfect slight crust on the outside and fluffy on the inside texture. They may have a couple missteps along the way, but that shouldn't stop you from going. I can't wait until the new Cape Coral location opens on Del Prado! I (JD) had just finished eating a blueberry cake donut (my favorite) from Divine that my wife brought home from work the night before when I got the text from JH. Naturally, being the lover of food that I am, I said yes. Since I already had a donut, I stuck with a chocolate iced chocolate cake donut (second favorite), a classic sour cream donut, and a cronut hole. A cronut is essentially a croissant turned into a donut, deep fried, and coated in sugar. And yes, it is as amazing and delicious as it sounds. The other two donuts were fantastic as well. I know, I have simple tastes when it comes to donuts. But Divine Donuts does simple really well. Their donuts are never dry, they're full of flavor, and they taste great. If you're in the Fort Myers area, stop by and grab yourself one or twelve. You will not be disappointed. read more
