Do not recommend using Steven for any concrete or masonry services. He is operating under his…read morebusiness name that is not legitimate (no business license in the state of Florida). After agreeing to a fixed price quote with no mention of prices being subject to change, of which we still owed him $217.23, he attempted to extort us for $600 of which we did not agree to pay. He never communicated to us that he was not going to finish the job and left a pile of concrete debris in our backyard and the project unfinished. We are now having to pay an additional $3,000 for another contractor to come in and demo the border that he installed incorrectly, remove the debris, and complete the job.

We have done a…read morenumber of kitchen renovations over the years (so many moves around the country due to military and government service). They ranged from full custom design to DIY with a lot of help from the kids. As we are now both retired I wanted to do a combination of "contracts"-- help with the heavy lifting and things like electric and plumbing, but letting us keep our hands in on the parts we like to do ourselves. This was a complete reno, removing a half wall and redesigning work and storage areas, but keeping the footprint so I would not have to replace flooring that continues through remainder of living areas. Not easy for any contractor to be interrupted by the client numerous times with "wait, let's see what it would look like if we...." or told we would have to reschedule as the cabinets I ordered arrived in wrong sizes or the dishwasher arrived damaged! Dwayne and his team were great, putting up with delays and multiple changes on my part. He brought in an excellent electrician at the right price, and has a fabulous working relationship with the countertop folks. His pricing was reasonable and we enjoyed working with him.
