Ended a girls trip with 2 dives at divers Den. Captain JD and Niko where absolutely amazing. Very personable and took care of our every need. They had water and snacks for us on the boat. Easy check in, great follow up, showed up and everything was on time as scheduled. They were extremely patient when or group had a few issues. I'll be diving every Panama trip with them going forward. I would recommend you do the same if you like having an easy breezy and competent diving team! This was one of my cool experiences with the dive: Okay so first trip. Is where they sunk a a bridge. I catch something out of my left eye and I litterly said mother fu...r. And almost spit my regulator out. Scared the crap out of me. It was like a dancing shadow. Finally able to focus in on it, it was the biggest fish I've ever seen in my life. With thousands of smaller fish clustered and dancing all around it. It was at least 4-5feet by about the same. Found out it was a Grouper. I had NO idea that grouper got that big. Every dive I've been on in Cozumel, or other locations, one of the dive guides goes, for safety concerns. I informed the boat my son and I haven't dove in 10+ years, and there was one other diver on the boat. They seemed not to be the least bit concerned. I was comfortable, or I wouldn't have booked the dive. My suggestion...if you're new to the sport, this may not be your dive shop to book through. If you're an experienced diver, don't waste your money. The dives are boring, because you're so confined to any one item. First dive, we could look at an old metal structure that was a bridge. Wow...whoop-to-do. The second dive was better, but I guess I'm spoiled by the coral reefs in the Mexico region. read more

My son was very nervous about scuba diving, but his instructor Dave was so kind and patient. The weather conditions were less than perfect, so day 1 he was in pool, day 2 at the Vortex Spring (about an hour away), and day 3 was at the jetty. My 13 year old daughter and I headed down to PCB from atlanta to complete the open water portion of our certification. We chose Divers Den based on reviews and they did not disappoint. Our dive instructor was Nicole and she definitely was the right instructor for us. We were lucky enough to just have the two of us in our group and Nicole was wonderful. Her enthusiasm and love of diving was contagious and made each dive feel less like a class and more like an adventure. She gave clear expectations and instructions for each dive which allowed us to focus on what we would need to do and was so helpful and patient if we needed explanations or assistance. She was amazing with my daughter and went out of her way to find cool creatures and things to see in order to make our first open water dive super fun as well as instructive. Prices were competitive and the staff was friendly and helpful. Location was very close to dive sites. They had lots of gear to make sure we had the fit and equipment we needed. Only down side was that on the second day Nicole was able to schedule a boat dive for us on their charter boat but the boat experienced engine trouble before leaving the marina. It was unfortunate but completely out of their control and Nicole was able to pivot quickly to get us a great shore dive so we could finish our certification. I understand they were able to get the boat fixed quickly so I wouldn't be concerned about this for anyone considering diving with them. Highly recommend! read more

Had a great dive with Diver's Den yesterday. My son and I went with Rick. He was helpful and very patient. Our 40+ dives have all been in the Keys. This was our 1st time in PCB. This dive was different, but equally as fun. I will say the weather was perfect and the conditions were ideal, so we had that going for us already. JD is an excellent captain, Brian and Carlos are stellar master divers who excel at their craft. Kim couldn't be more polite when booking and checking in early morning divers. I appreciate the helpfulness of the staff in getting our family fitted for wet suit rentals. We have 3 young children and they were really helpful communicating with them to ensure they were comfortable. I ended up having an issue with one of the suits and was told they would refund me for that suit. Nothing was refunded so I ended up calling them and they took care of it no problem. Otherwise I would have said 5 stars. read more

Great customer service! My family and I use this shop a good bit when down in Florida. The guys there are always very helpful. You can purchase and rent diving equipment here. There carry mainly Aqua Lung but have an assortment of brands. Renting equipment is $18 for BC, $8 tank, and $18 reg this is for 24 hours. They have an array of masks, snorkels, wetsuits, and BC's to chose from. This weekend we rented some equipment from diver's den. The bad weather caused us to have a short dive. The guys were very humble and told us we could use it for a few more hours. Since we didn't get to dive but 10 minutes and had full tanks. Of course we didn't take them up on their offer, but it was a very nice gesture. I would highly recommend the shop. read more

Was a fine 2 tank inshore dive. Rates were a bit higher than Panama City Diving. My Nitrox tanks were labelled at 30.1% & 29.4% which is less than ideal when you assume you're paying for 32%. The full compliment of 10 divers + Captain + DM made for VERY cramped conditions on the boat, & TBH my buddies both commented on how uptight the Capt was about managing his boat. Won't be my first choice for service when I come back but will dive with them again if the other boats are full. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I was certified by them MANY MOONS AGO. I was on holiday and wanted to go diving. I scheduled my dive and showed up at the shop. Shop is WELL SUPPLIED and extremely helpful. Paid and went to the boat. The boat that day was almost FULL. It made for a great day of diving. The took us to 2 sights, one being VOODOO, 2 planes at about 75 feet and one of the old bridge spans from the OLD BAY BRIDGE. That day was great visibility and great weather as well as CALM SEAS. The dive master ensured we were all ready and double checked prior to entry. The BOAT supplied TANKS and WEIGHTS - PLUS had ample WATER and some snacks and FRESH PINEAPPLE. I loved the dive so much, I went back the following week. After the weather got better. I was able to use my Action Cameras and taped the dives as well as pictures which I was able to show off to my momma. Divers Den has been an ICON in the area for DECADES and will continue to be a success due to their consistent passion for the sport and their customers. This past Friday (aug18) was my second open water dive. The Crew made me and partners feel comfortable. The dives where great! Dive master (Carlos) was very knowledgeable and helped me figure out something's I didn't know about my computer. The captain (JD) was hilarious. 1) clean dive shop 2) good quality rental equipment with a very clean tank fill room. Checked reg set before renting them. 3) Dive Master Carlos is very knowledgeable and checked us over and gave a great dive plan. My only issue is when trip is cancelled due to weather and sea conditions (no complaint there) is there was no refund from a two tank trip back to a one tank trip, they offered half off your next dive which is great if you are in town long enough. But on the plus side they did not require a deposit to reserve a dive which was great cause you know how vacation plans change. They provided water, cut pineapple on the boat which was set up nicely. I had a month to get in an advanced open water course and a nitrox certification and Chase made everything happen. I needed to do it in one weekend since I live two hours away, and he was incredibly accommodating and made sure everything was organized and ready to go the weekend I showed up. Chase was fantastic as an instructor and made sure I was comfortable with all the skills I needed to learn. I really appreciated him going above and beyond so that I could have a great dive trip in the Keys a couple weeks later. The other people in the shop were also great to interact with! read more

My wife, daughter an I (all adv open water and years of diving) dove with Divers Den for two days. Total of four dives. Each day we did one wreck and one bridge span. The Goliath Grouper are something to see. On every dive we saw at least one and on one dive we saw five. They were all big and a few were ginormous -over6 ft long and a mouth that could swallow a 50 gallon drum. On one dive Carlos was giving us a pre dive briefing after he dove down to secure the boat to the wreck. He said the visibility 20 ft of of the bottom was zero- due to all of the bait fish! The crew set up lines on the surface, at 15 ft and for decent to the wreck. Very necessary with the current. The shop team was quite professional and organized. They called prior to dive day to be sure we were coming and that the equipment would be ready for us. Most of the shop team were active divers themselves. Carlos and TJ ran the boat. Both guys are very experienced divers and boat operators. TJ was a navy medic and diver. He continues his technical diving training with the navy. TJ has been diving the area all his life and has completed over 3,000 local dives himself. I like that Carlos had a soft casual approach with everyone. He was fun while he visually checked everyones ability and equipment. His suggestions were spot on and delivered in a casual off the cuff manor. On one dive we had a new diver age 12 and his dad as well as experienced divers. Everyone was in the water and diving no problem. So yes i would recommend this group without reservations. read more

best dive shop and dive masters in PC. i wanted to learn how to spear fish and they taught me how to and we had some great flounder and snapper that evening. I did visit the local competiton they wanted me to spend $500 for set up that i didnt need and was not at all customer service oriented . I dont fall in the Divers Clique and Divers Den made me feel at home with best customer service vs no customer service at the competition. Believe me now Divers Den Dive Masters JD and Carlos were the BOMB thanks i will only Dive with these guys .. As far as dive was concerned i saw tons of Fish and cool things too. read more

I completed my PADI open water diver training through them. The entire team at Divers Den were excellent to work with. As a student I received a student discount on all items purchased. Mack made sure I knew how to get the best fit for my mask. Jennifer was my instructor for the training. She did a fabulous job of training me in every skill. I feel very competent that I will be a safe and skilled diver. I recommend personal diver training. It was much better for me than doing a class training with other students. This is an unsafe dive center. The dive master sent my son down 70 feet without a buddy. Carlos got in and went down to take a picture of a shark and then got back in the boat and told him to go. There was no one from the dive center in the water, just another couple buddied up. I have dove many times all over and have never heard of anything so unprofessional. He and the boat captain were also very rude. I would pick another dive center in pcb if you value safety. read more
