Great follow up questions to ensure that the quote was accurate. Randy showed up right on time and was so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He was honest about the efforts needed for certain projects and took photos for future project estimates. He completed our three small projects in half the time estimated, which greatly reduced our costs as well. It was affordable and we felt he was trustworthy and very competent. I am highly likely to both recommend Ace Handyman and request Randy for future larger projects. They stay tuned for an update if we have them close off a room for us and redo/tile our master shower.

Contacted Ace to have a screen door installed. Booking the appointment was easy, and the handyman…read morearrived as scheduled. He was polite and seemed knowledgeable, but it took him over 5 hours to do a 1-hour job, and the result was very poor. He disregarded the printed instructions I provided, cut one of the trim pieces too short, and installed the door closure too high, so that there are screws protruding through the door. As a result, I have had to purchase a new trim piece and pay another installer to correct his work. But the thing that I find most disheartening about the experience is that I contacted Ace before posting this review to give them a chance to make it right, and they have not responded. I will not do business with them again.

His guy was the 2nd person to tell us this, original was during our home inspection and our heating and air people telling us ventilation was an issue from the start. Regarding value, they were comparable to other quotes received and it came down to integrity and customer service. Highly recommend!

They had come out 6 times to try and fix leak(seams like they just kept adding more caulk) and I still have the exact leak. Finally they said afyer their 6 return. We hired R & L Home Solutions LLC for residential home improvement work in Knox County under a…read morewritten contract totaling approximately $15,000. The work was not completed as agreed, and the contractor ended work before the full scope was finished, requiring us to engage replacement services. During the project, property damage occurred, resulting in delays and additional repair work. Formal invoices were never provided. Despite multiple written requests, the company failed to supply itemized billing, receipts, proof of licensing, or other documentation relevant to the project. Payment demands continued while the account was in active dispute and before requested documentation was produced. Certified mail sent to the business's last known address was returned as undeliverable due to an expired forwarding order, and the company did not provide an updated service address despite repeated requests. Written requests for clarification and documentation were often unanswered or only partially addressed, and the explanations for claimed charges changed over time without supporting records. Based on our documented cost analysis, we have already paid more than the value of work completed. This review is shared to reflect our experience and to encourage others to carefully verify documentation, licensing, and billing practices before hiring.
