The gear worked well and we had help with everything we needed. Snorkeling with big eyed jacks was unexpected and surreal! Our guide Julia was knowledgeable and kind. On our final day the owner upgraded us to a VIP tour because we were unsure whether we really needed a third day, as we had gone well, watching during the previous snorkeling trips, and seen whales and dolphins. The owner took us out separately and made sure we had the most amazing time without charging us an additional penny. we saw sharks, turtles, and everything you could expect, and a lot you couldn't. The family which owns this business has been heavily involved in creating the experience that is Capomo national Park. I would support them if I had a choice.

If you have never been to Cabo Pulmo you are really missing out on something special. Keep in mind that it is a very small off the grid dirt town that mainly supports scuba diving. It has all levels of accommodations. A few restaurants, limited shopping options so try to bring anything you might need. Great diving, great people and such a special place. Give CPWS and Cabo Pulmo a try and you will be glad you did.

We got 4 hours total and the trails around the area were incredibly fun to drive on. We felt like we were the only ones on the road at certain points and could go as fast as we wanted! He talked for a solid hour on the telephone, cussing profusely in Spanish to his buddies, while we tried to figure out which lures to use and how deep to fish them. He was pretty indifferent to our presence and, the fact that he couldn't speak a word of English, made communication difficult at best. We paid this guy $300 for a half-day of fishing and caught one fish. Take your business elsewhere. Cuyuyo sucks big time.
