There was a little confusion as I hadn't specifically wanted either the 3pm or 3:20pm slot, I just booked them both for myself and my friend, however despite it making more sense for my friend to go in the first slot, they wouldn't change our times around. The room for the massage was nice, standard massage room really. Although they do have electronic beds to adjust the height, which I gather for shorter people than me (5ft 10) this would come in useful, plus it is heated. Although I did ask half way through for the heat to be turned off as I felt like I was being cooked...but that's just me and heat! The massage itself was good, she did as I asked and didn't shy away from the painful parts (no pain no gain)! A complementary facial had been included which was basic but relaxing. I advised her of my sensitive skin so she used the sensitive lotions, which still stung slightly, but I've had worse! Arriving back at reception my masseuse, Natalie, had left a postcard advising me to get more massages to help with the problem areas, which was sweet, and giving me another excuse to get more :) Based on my experiences alone I would recommend them, however my friend who was with me didn't have such a good time. She didn't have a heated bed, which was a shame since she is the heat lover, and her masseuse didn't follow her instructions and performed a relaxing massage rather than one that tackled the knots. Overall, I'd probably go back if I was in the area or couldn't get into a more local one. It's handy as it is in Silverburn, up the stairs to the left of Yo-Sushi/Debenhams, if you are there for some shopping too, and the premises is very modern and stylish. Price wise, it was £32 for half an hour of massage, with the complementary facial. It's a little on the pricer side, I guess due to it's location.

I chose the massage on the grounds that you should never miss the chance to get those tense muscles relaxed. My beautician, Lyn, was welcoming and put me at ease without being too familiar. I loved the facial and will certainly try and make it a regular treat. My skin definitely looked and felt better and the massage was amazing.

First I have to say the team were great at answering my pre-visit questions on Twitter and I was able to phone up and book an appointment no problem--it is also possible to book online (which works on mobile) but I didn't have my card near me when I went to book. I had my baby girl with me in her pram and that wasn't an issue at all. The girls in the salon totally fussed over her and she was happy as can be. My brows were shaped and I was in/out in under 10 minutes. On a Friday they give their customer's goodie bags as a thank you AND if a friend refers you you'll get £5 off! Not too shabby! They have a range of brow packages if you like to get yours tinted, etc but the basic brow wax will run you £8.50 which for the quality of treatment is great. I had a bit of a reaction to their oil post wax but they were super helpful and have a different oil and a plan in place for me next time I go and have been messaging me to check in on my brows! I'd never had my legs waxed before shaving always seems like much less hassle and a pain free option which certainly always seems the best but it's true what they say - no pain no gain. The girl who was doing my treatments was really friendly and I was really pleased with the shape that she got my eyebrows, I've been to beauticians before and they just make you look like you've got a couple of skinny caterpillars but she just gave me a nice shape following the natural shape of my eyebrows. As for my legs, they weren't half as painful as I'd have imagined and the torture was over quite quickly thank goodness! After the treatments the girl applied some nice soothing lotion that also smelled lovely too. From the outside this place looks absolutely tiny, but this is quite deceiving as inside you will find the receptions area and a longish hallway which leads to the nail room and two beauty rooms. As well as beauty treatments there are also more relaxing treatments on offer such as facials, Indian head massage and hot stones massage. After looking at the prices they seemed very reasonable and much cheaper than some other beauticians. The clean, modern and fresh layout of the salon is really appealing and when I feel like treating myself I will definitely head down here for some relaxation. As well as splashing out on yourself this place is also fabulous for gift ideas. Who doesn't love receiving a massage voucher for a present? One of my friends always get her nails done here, and they aren't cheap at £40 each time so I usually chip in with a friend to get her this treatment for Christmas and birthdays, she always appreciates it as it's something she always gets done anyway.
