It also offers local bands a chance to showcase their talent with nights organised by local promoters. At the weekends the venue is used as a club that generally caters for the 'alternative' Norwich scene. Friday nights tend to alternate each week between 80's and 90's theme, which may sound cheesy but the DJ's actually play decent music from those decades. It is nothing like your typical Flares or Reflex nightclubs. Every Saturday in the main room downstairs is a club night called Meltdown, which tends to play alternative music catering for the indie/emo/punk/rock/dance genres. Up stairs there are two rooms. One is a small café bar, which is great to as a chill out area as there are plenty of tables and chairs located around. The other room is larger which has a different set of DJ's each week will be a different themed night. Anything from New Electro to Britpop to Heavy Metal or Rap. There's rarely any trouble in The Waterfront and you'll always make a new friend each time you go there. Overall, it's a great night out with a quality friendly atmosphere!

As it is open many nights, it makes going out a lot easier, and gives clubbers a wider choice in when to go. Most nights have free entry till a certain time, and even some nights where drinks are 'buy one get one free', making it extremely popular. There are themed nights throughout the year, and to celebrate this there is always something good planned to entertain. There is a great group of bar staff who are always friendly, and the doormen are also friendly and often helpful. When going here you are guaranteed a great night.

It has three different areas that offer different types of music in each area, such as dance, chart music, hip hop and 80's music with plenty of classic cheesy music as well. The DJ are very experienced and help to make the night as fun as possible. The main club room has comfy seating as well as a good sized danced floor and even pole to dance around if you are that way inclined. The staff are all very friendly and deal with any trouble quickly and without fuss.

Upstairs you have the club, complete with dancefloor, bar, DJ and pole dancing poles. The drinks in Legends are expensive, there is also an entry charge, which in my opinion it isnt worth paying for. At the age of 24 years old i felt old going in here, but then who wouldnt when you are surrounded by 16 and 17 year olds? Legend is very relaxed on their rules of who they let in i guess this is because they are struggling to get customers and need the money coming in! If your idea of a good night is dancing around with a group of teenagers then Legend is the place for you, it certainly wasnt for me.

The good thing about this place is they don't charge you for cover (well at least when I went) and dress codes aren't strict (I guess cuz they assume everyone in Europe has a good sense of style). Last I was here my friends and I got there early enough to get a booth and ordered ourselves drinks before we hit the dancefloor. But while there, I accidentally bumped into some lady smoking where then she told me to "WOTCH IT!" Also, there seemed to be more guys and girls. You know what that means (I'll let that simmer for a bit). I also couldn't really enjoy their music, not because I didn't like it but moreso because I couldn't get used to it. But everyone around me seemed to enjoy it, what with it being stuff from the U.S. and other countries. The crowd there was very diverse too, especially both young and old. Mostly old. Overall, if I was back in the area I would comeback just to party here one more time. I know there aren't that many clubs/ night spots in Cambridge but the Fez is a good club to check out if you're in the area.

For the taller person this place is a little cramped but I'm used to that now but it can be a hit hairy after afew and you forget to duck.
