Man my first time in here I got a decent fade and my second time I didn't even get a fade like I asked for I just got my hair cut shorter. I asked for a skin taper and it was nowhere close to that. I'm very upset with this haircut I paid 40 dollars it's definitely not a "fade" but rather a simple haircut. read more

Distinguished Barber Studio - Non existent fade - Barbers Near Me - Grand Junction, Colorado

We stopped in for a haircut for my teenage son's unruly, curly mane & he got in right away. The vibe is low-key & the customer service top-notch. The basic haircut includes a hot towel shave and even an eyebrow trim - all for only $35! The barber did an excellent job and was very friendly. Highly recommend & we will definitely be back! read more

Ahhhmazing experience and fantastic cut. Chris knows his trade and is very proud of his work. I'm totally impressed with the entire shop. Everyone was very friendly. The shop was clean and the experience was awesome! I'm bummed I am only passing through GJ. Otherwise I'd go to Distinguished exclusively! Thanks for a great cut. read more

AMAZING staff! I've been in twice now with my little men (aged 5 & 3). Today, Dannika took care of us. Incredibly patient as my children couldn't decide if they were going to be scared or brave. While the kids were making up their minds, Dannika patiently put the high chair on and off the seat, showing extreme flexibility and tolerance. Then as my husband was getting his hair cut started, two other barbers walked in talking about their time with GJHS, having volunteered 2 hours and countless haircuts, all volunteer time, for cancer awareness at the school. Talk about awesome people! What an asset to the community! Please support this business and make this a regular stop-by. read more

I showed up for an appointment with a woman I think her name was Lauren, I could tell she didn't want to cut my hair to begin with. She was silent, very distant. I'm a flight attendant and when I told her that she moved me to another barbers chair i was upset . The barber she moved me to was great. She even said the other barber was rude. She initially was very curious when asking me what I wanted. In general I wouldn't recommend this place.the barbers seem like they are better than everyone else. read more

High quality barber shop with super friendly staff. Love the ability to just walk in and the wait is far less than some other shops.

Warning: only go here if you want an amazing haircut. Chris and his staff know what they are doing and I always walk out happy. I live 2 hours away and their end product is worth the drive every-time. I have yet to be disappointed and the environment is very welcoming especially when Titus and lady are up front greeting the customers. Come scraggly, leave happy! read more

Visiting from Utah and new to this town I did a search and found this spot. Everyone was welcoming and then I met the brain behind the establishment. I sat in his chair and couldn't have been more happy with our initial meet and greet. Knowledgeable in hair care and sold me on product. My drive is over an hour one way. I'll definitely be back. Thanks to Chris and his talented crew read more

As far as what Jay T. said about the studio and Chris is BS. You sat in that chair and didn't say anything. I really wish I could YELP review you. You should've spoken up. It's not their fault you decided to play on your phone or just flat out not paid attention what was going on. Chris is the Barber and Barber Shop we used to have back in the day and what we have been missing. Very welcoming and always communicates the entire time the cut and shave is being done. I get my cut done here as well as all my boys. Never once have we had a bad one. They always make sure to ask questions and stop during the cut to make sure it's up to par. YOU ALL DO A GREAT JOB AND DON'T LET THIS OTHER GUYS REVIEW DETER YOU FROM WHAT YOU CURRENTLY DO! read more

After a couple of botched haircuts elsewhere around town, is was looking for a new place to go. I came in on a Monday just walked in without an appointment. I was in the chair right away! Tyra is super friendly, we had a good conversation while she cut my hair. Everyone working in there is was also very friendly and professional. They had good music on, sports on the TVs, everyone was talking back and forth if they weren't talking to their barber. I had a great experience. I will definitely be back and if you're looking for a new place to get a haircut go check out Distinguished Barber Studio on North! read more

Chris was my barber and he definitely made me feel at home and welcome and we had a good conversation! Other barbers make me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, but Distinguished definitely made it feel local and available for everyone interested! Definitely recommend! The haircut was also amazing and I'll def be back! Much love! read more

The shop is a good place to get cut. Friendly people, comfy waiting area. You can tell time and effort has been spent on managing the place, and its paying off. My barber was great, he set me up with a few new ways to style my hair. I'm finna come back. read more

I took my dad there for a haircut and shave. Chris did a fantastic job with him! Not only gave him a great cut & shave, but also made him feel comfortable and put on music his generation would like. He's very pleased and wants me to take him back to Chris! read more

No appointments allowed, per phone conversation with Barber the day before. She stated we have 3 barbers and walk-Ins are welcome. The shop supposedly closes at 5pm... so I rushed over after work and was there before 4:15..... Only 2 barbers working.... I believe the 3rd left as I was checking in. One barber seemed close to being done....he finally finished about 20 minutes later... cleaned up his work area and then causally advised me he had an appointment. That didn't sit well... but I assumed the other barber would likely finish soon. Not likely, again almost 20 minutes later.... which was a full hour of me waiting and over an hour the barber had the other customer at his station.... now the barber who worked via appointments needed to help finish the other barbers job.... I finally simply excused myself suggesting two hours (one hour plus waiting and one hour for a haircut) was beyond ridiculous. Won't return and suggest you don't go! read more
