This is two and a half years late, So I owe Mr. Hunter and his staff a sincere apology.
First off, this was not my first interaction with DPR. They were also trainers for our company for of course, Dispute Resolution.
When I was in litigation with a company for injuries sustained on their property, we finally ended up at Mediation in lieu of jury trial. After a brief introduction, or "re-introduction", Mr. Hunter explained the process, to which I compared to buying a car at a dealer. Both he and my attorney chuckled and said "kind of"... It's a "make your best deal effort".
This worked for me... as I was in my element.
Without telling enough of the story to give away the details, we did okay.
:)
