He demonstrated a thorough interest in my case by asking questions that is necessary for me to understand my case from a legal stance, the value in cost and weighing out the pros and cons in how to approach and pursue my case. When you're dealing with things like DV and custody, the last thing you need is to be used and abused by your lawyer/firm, someone who is supposed to advocate for and care about you. I was with this firm for about a year. I was forced to switch to 3 different lawyers and was charged each time. DO NOT go with this firm. The first lawyer I had was so cold and gave bad legal advice that ended up screwing up my case. I was with the second lawyer for about a month before they switched me again. Again, I was charged each time for each new lawyer to review my case and to meet with them to catch them up. It was traumatizing because I'm going through a custody battle and DV case so each time I had to explain again about how my soon to be ex-husband is abusing and has abused me and my children. I've also been charged even when THEY had to reschedule a meeting. It was unreal. They called me a couple hours prior and I graciously agreed. Thankfully I watched the bills because they had the nerve to charge me for that call. It seems like they are very scattered, unorganized and greedy. I acknowledge that lawyers deserve to be paid but they absolutely went too far. One of my lawyers I had literally called me the wrong name in court multiple times. One time mispronouncing it and one time calling me someone else's name entirely. It was humiliating. She also filed papers from someone else's case with my case papers. It was a nightmare! I write this review in shock, awe, and full of emotion. After posting my last review, I was contacted by Greg, who offered his assistance in answering my questions. He listened to me and made me feel heard. After 2 years of going through heartbreaking trials and hearings, Greg helped me settle my custody battle without going to court. Bringing this long exhausting, ugly battle to a peaceful end. Greg was so quick to put what I wanted in writing and submit it to the court, even reaching out to opposing counsel and going over it with them. Once they agreed, everything was done that night! I hired Emma Littman Baker out of Greg Ryan's office for my divorce case. The case lasted over 2.5 years, and I jokingly say that she was the only reason I kept my sanity throughout the entire process. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and handling of every little situation was worth every single penny I had to pay over those few years while my divorce dragged on in the courts and my x husband refused to make things right for his adulterous behavior. Emma was prompt about returning phone calls and emails, on top of all paperwork, and very OCD about explaining the entire process to me. In short, she was amazing, and more like a friend than my attorney. I am headed to law school shortly myself, so I am not your average legal client - I came to Emma probably more proactive, savvy, and a little more educated in the legal process than most. Going through a divorce with a child is already one of the hardest things I had to go through especially when things are not amicable. When I was going though my divorce (which took almost a year and a half) I was with another attorney at a another law firm. I felt ok about the outcome of my divorce but I also felt that my previous attorney could have fought harder with the issues that I was facing. Last year, almost 6 years after my divorce was finalized I was served with papers from my ex-husband taking me back to court. It was a VERY stressful situation and the emotions and uncertainty from before came back instantly. As soon as I received the papers my first thought was that I needed to call the attorney who previously represented me. I mean I didn't know any better. I just knew that I really didn't want to go back to the attorney who represented me before. I wanted someone who would be strong but kind and someone who would stick up for me and my daughter and would not back down from the issues I knew was coming my way. So without giving too much detail to my case but being completely transparent, I had a very rocky start with this firm. I originally retained an attorney that after meeting in person with, felt comfortable enough to move forward. He was not my first pick, but I did get assigned to him when I called the office for attorney's taking new cases. The retainer was what most firms were charging and I knew that I could be spending a lot of money in the end with a contested divorce that included children. After mediation and having to go to court a couple times, I realized that my attorney was not who I ultimately felt confident with to represent me and I could no longer afford to keep going back and forth settling for less and less than fair. And just when I requested to withdraw counsel with the court, the judge gave me a continued hearing on a date that my attorney could not appear so his superior filled in. COMPLETE GAME CHANGER! Molly is bright, quick and very experienced. She brought hope back for me and eventually she became my attorney to finalize my divorce. I strongly recommend her as an attorney as she is a respectful fighter and doesn't miss details! She really cares and that is important as this can be very emotional and extremely expensive. While we went through some hiccups in the process, Greg Ryan & his team including Kathy were dedicated to work with me through various situations and also to make it right on behalf of my previous attorney who is no longer at the firm. They have since been unquestionably the right choice. Side note, my previous attorney was a very nice guy and empathized with my situation. However, he was definitely not the right fit for my case or to go up against the opposing counsel. He may however have been the right fit for other successful cases within the firm. My divorce took over a year in court under legal counsel. If I started with Molly, I would have given this review 5 stars. They are a firm to consider. read more

She wrote an organized and clear response to the summons that really expressed the points I needed to convey, which I might have not been able to do with eloquence given the extreme time constraint that this case was somehow able to come before a judge on.
