I want to sincerely thank you all at the discovery dental, the folks I have had direct contact with and the other ones that give free smiles away when I have my appointments. In this fast pace busy life, it is almost impossible to find good genuine customer service, but you Janis, Hillary and doctor Joshua Green went above and beyond to make my pain and frustration an easy thing to deal with. For every phone call I made, you all gave me full undivided attention like I was the only patient you have! It Made me feel special and I knew I would be okay! Janis is an amazing woman with fantastic people skills, she is kind, genuine and a problem solver. Not enough thanks will justify how grateful I am to you. Hillary makes it so easy with my cleanings, she is sweet and adorable and I make my whole family come to see her! And of course I couldn't forget the main character of this amazing show, Dr. Joshua Green. He is an fabulous professional, straight to the point, answer my calls on the weekends, taking time away with his family to help with my annoying pain complaints. Thank you, thank you and thank you! I have a co-worker that said, you know your an adult when you take yourself to the dentist. My experience with Discovery Dental continues to be very positive. I called on Tuesday morning with something that just was not right, they were able to work me into the schedule with two possible appointment options. I took the later as I had commitments I still needed to accomplish. I got done a bit sooner than expected, so I made the 50 mile drive into town and arrived over an hour early. I let them know I was there and they apologized that I unlikely to get in before my appointed time, which really was not an issue! Turns out, they got me in in less than 5 minutes and found I had broken a tooth in such a way that I needed a crown. Past experience has been three or more trips to get a crown.... I had a permanent crown installed and in less than 3 hours, I was headed home. I have been a patient here for several years now, I have no plans on changing, even though I no longer live in Missoula. The Greens get my green light every time. Discovery Dental Group is the best dentist I have ever been to. Not only is Dr. Josh Green wonderfully thorough at checkups, Maureen is phenomenal at cleaning my teeth and keeping me painlessly distracted from the fact that she is cleaning teeth. The whole staff is super kind and they always treat me with such care. I even like the way they decorated their office - tranquil and super clean. The upgrades of equipment when they moved to this office were amazing and amenities like text messages to remind me of appointments really just keep making the experience better every time. I even get a new head for my Sonicare toothbrush every time I go in there. They really think of everything. My Dad has dementia and this was his first visit. I know it is not usual but, he was taken in early for an exam. They found one tooth that needed to be removed and two small cavities. They couldn't remove the tooth without a prior cleaning to prevent infection and fortunately had a cancellation that day. With only a thirty minute wait he was in for a cleaning. Additionally, they managed to find an appointment to remove the abscessed tooth this Friday. I was very impressed with the way that treated my father and am glad I made the initial appointment with Discovery Dental. Also, the dentist was recommended by my dentist in Stevensville. I've been going to DDG since they opened and really love my hygienist Hillary! I have certain teeth that are sensitive and she always remembers which ones and goes about cleaning them differently to make it less painful. My dentist (Dr. Josh) is pretty dry but always explains my issues. I did recently go to him for sore teeth and after xrays and poking around, we deduced that it is from me clenching my teeth. When I asked what I could do about that, he told me not to clench my teeth...yeah, because I never thought of that. I was thinking maybe he would suggest a night guard or something, but nope. I won't hold it against him, but I thought it was kind of poor form on his part. read more

I have been going to Discovery Dental for quite a while now and plan on staying with them. I was a nurse (retired now) and have never seen anything there that would make me question their sterile technique or cleanliness. My first visit was for pain in one tooth, and when they got me in so quickly I was expecting to have to wait, which would've been fine, but was pleasantly surprised that I didn't. Dr. Jeff stayed late to 'fix' me, and his staff has always been been thorough and kind. My daughter & her family were going to switch their care there but they weren't on their insurance provider's list?! I can't think of anything to complain about! read more

I've been going to Discovery for the last few years and I felt the need to drop a line after my visit today. My teeth are not great, I have a lot of decay issues from years of neglecting my teeth and they have done amazing work saving my teeth, instead of just pulling them. I had a rather large break in a tooth the other day that was visible when I smiled. I called them, was in two days later and my smile looks great. My tooth has been restructured, reshaped, and the shade matches perfectly to my teeth. This is an excellent place to go for dental care. I love Discovery Dental! I have nothing bad to say. I never wait long, even when I check in early. I see the same hygienist every time, and she always remembers who I am and and asks me how everything is. She always tells me what she is doing and what to expect. I am never shamed about my teeth. I have never had a painful experience. When the DDS comes in to check films he is friendly and thorough. I recommend Discovery to everyone, and I have had coworkers switch dentists because they hear how awesome it is. read more

Discovery Dental is a top notch facility and staff! From the first greeting to the final departure I actually felt cared for and appreciated! They went above my expectations for a dentist office. I hate the Dentist but somehow they made my experience a great one. I had a rotten tooth and right after Jeffery Green looked at it he extracted it. He was slammed and still took great care of me! The facilities at Discovery Dental are fantastic. Clean, calm waiting room with computer and internet available. Flat screen TVs in each exam room for your convenience. Dr. Green and his staff are always friendly, courteous, professional, and prompt. My appointments have always started either before or right on time. I had an issue with a tooth. I was able to calll and get in right away. I thought I would need a crown. But Dr Josh came to the rescue. He was able to fix my tooth without a crown and what a relief that was. Thank you! When I checked in and checked out the lady was very sweet and helpful. Jen, Dr Josh's assistant... was really calm, efficient, and told me everything would be ok! . I've been to a lot of dentists and this was my first time to this one. I thought they were very courteous and nice. I have found that to be the case at most dentists for their office staff and hygienists. I got in quick was taken care of right away and then I was out. They take care of billing your insurance and you don't even have to pay the co-pay up front. I have not met the dentist yet but that will happen on my next visit. They were very highly recommended to me by my co-workers. read more

My 14 year old had her first dental procedure and it was a doozy! Pulling a tooth in preparation for braces. Dr. Jeff and his staff talked her through every single step and she said afterwards "I really thought that would be a bigger deal". I don't like going to the dentist. Not because of the drills, but because I am afraid of what people will think of me when they look in my mouth. Both the dentist and the assistant made me feel so comfortable and that I was normal. They were able to get me an appointment for the next day... to fix a problem. The office is clean and the staff friendly. To top it off they are located in the North Reserve area making it convenient to get to from my home or work! read more

I was reluctant to return this year, because last year the Dr. and assistant's comments were somewhat hurtful. They need to remind themselves that people wearing the headphones for the TV can still hear their conversations. They discussed how bad my breath was, and she pointed out that my teeth were discolored. The Doc DID do a MARVELOUS job on my teeth last year however, I am thankful for that. A very good dental reconstruction experience. I had a minor emergency and they worked me in that very morning. Totally up-to-date practice methods and equipment, and a very pleasant staff. Also an in house "internet cafe" with a computer and coffee etc. I have been using the Curry Health Clinic while a non-traditional student at UM, but now that I don't have that option, these folks will be my dental care providers. read more
