My 3 year old had a rough time going to school when he started, but everyone there made it so nice for him. They are very patient and I could not believe my son that is more on the quiet side came home & was able to say the Pledge after only a month in school! The castle always has great activities too. Lots of theme days, fun field trips and their concern for safety makes me feel they are very trustworthy. The drop off & pick up is great, especially if you have babies! Love this school!

Every holiday they have little activities for the parents to come to and Christmas and school pictures as well. The teachers are always waiting outside for you to pull up and help get the kids into school safely. They are always doing things that are just really special for parents. Last school year they had the parents come in on the last day of school and go over how your child did through the year and also gave us this big book that my sons teacher had been making over the past school year. There were little pieces of artwork that he made, photos of him playing with friends and being goofy, and pictures of us with him at his school activities. It was really touching. If you live in the Beverly area and have little ones, send them here. You won't regret it.

We've had a wonderful experience with All Day Montessori since 2021. The teachers are warm,…read moreattentive, and truly understand how to guide young children in a way that builds confidence and independence. Our children have blossomed--gaining early math and reading skills, but more importantly, developing a real love for learning. The Montessori approach here is authentic and well-implemented, with beautiful materials and a calm, respectful environment. We especially appreciate the focus on social-emotional growth and the strong sense of community. It's a place where our child feels safe and supported. Highly recommend for any family looking for a thoughtful, nurturing start to their child's education.

Some of the teachers care the administration does not. The head of school is horrendous. Rude. Not…read morecompassionate. She's yelled at my child in front of me. She leans on policy and punitive measures rather than developing intelligent, active, curious children. She hands out $20 late-fee notices down pick up line if you're a minute late. She hands out incident reports for every single interaction your toddler has that is negative. Pinching a teacher. Pouting and not listening. Blowing raspberries. Our kid was two. We don't need paperwork because she blew raspberries. Needless to say, we didn't make it through the school year. They're uneducated in childhood development and would rather place blame around, particularly on the children, than work with families to develop healthy kids. Do not go here!

I worked at this daycare and was very disappointed with what I personally observed. In my…read moreexperience, there were multiple safety and cleanliness concerns that I believe parents should be aware of. I observed mold in several areas of the building, exposed nails on the wooden playground equipment, and dried cat feces in the playground mulch. I also felt the daycare lacked enough toys and learning materials for the children. I frequently noticed classrooms being understaffed, with teachers responsible for more children than seemed appropriate. The daycare continued enrolling children despite staffing shortages, and I rarely saw enough staff available to provide the level of supervision and education the children deserved, especially in the infant rooms. I also observed children saying they were still hungry after meals because they felt the portions were too small. On multiple occasions, I saw children become ill at the daycare, and I was concerned that they were not always sent home promptly, which I believed increased the risk of illness spreading to other children and staff. I experienced what I believed to be unprofessional management. I witnessed staff being treated disrespectfully, and I observed situations that made me concerned about how some families and employees were treated. I also witnessed an incident where a Muslim child was served pork after the parents had communicated that their child should not eat it. Based on my experience, I believe the daycare prioritized operating with minimal resources over providing the safest and highest-quality environment for the children. Because of these concerns, I chose to leave my position. I encourage parents to visit the facility, ask questions, and make the decision they feel is best for their family.

My baby girl is currently enrolled in their day care program and I couldn't be happier. Ms. Allen has been in the business for decades and with that comes a great knowledge of how to care for and love on these babies. She has created a gem with Small Stride Academy and I have referred many of my friends to her as well. The teachers are so loving, friendly and nurturing. Ms. Harrison has a way with children that will have you asking her for tips. LOL She is able to work with children with various personalities and that speaks volumes to her gentle spirit and loving heart. I was a nervous wreck when my baby girl started school and Ms. Harrison and Ms. Kalena were there to calm me and my husband's fears. The Co-Director Ms. Kalena is so sweet and such a joy to talk to. She never got irritated with me calling multiple times a day to check on my baby and even encouraged me to do so to see how she was adjusting. By the third day my baby was jumping out of my arms to go to school and when she did that I knew once again that I had made the best choice for my baby by sending her to Small Stride. Another plus is they are open during convenient hours for us working parents! I highly recommend you check them out, they are such a blessing to my family!
