Another time i came to pick her up and she was screaming in her crib as i walked in i could hear her screaming, once i got into the class room i saw the teacher and the main director on there phones, i walked over to my baby just to see her foot was stuck in her crib!!!!!!!!! my last straw was when i saw a teacher grab her by her arms to get her out of the jumper. Me and my husband went to the director to explain why were were pulling our daughter out, when my husband was KINDLY explaining that we have seen this teacher do the same thing or worse to other children, the director replied to my husband and said "do you work here?" so me and my husband left and we will never return back to white oak! we loved the owner and Jennifer K, but will never put our child back into white oak

Parents!! Be careful of the environment your child is in. I've waited to write this to make sure…read moreit's actually true. LEADERSHIP AND ENVIRONMENT MATTER! We were with this daycare for almost a decade. First with my son who went through with no problems. This place was great. Mrs. Kelly was awesome, btw. Then, they had a change in leadership while my daughter was coming up with them. Let's just say Mrs. J took over. Little problems here and there, no biggie. She's 3. She turned 4 and moved up to, let just call her Miss. R's class. Super rude lady to me and other parents, teachers, etc. Then, problem after problem and a quick decline with my 4yr old daughter's "attitude". Literally, every day it was something she did. We just wondered, what's it gonna be today. We know that wasn't our daughter. When you know your kid, you know your kid. Off the wall things, too, that she obviously learned in that class. Lies from Miss R. Like they promote it and look for it, let it happen, then shame and discipline. My concern was raised with her teacher, Miss R after a situation of shaming, they even took pictures of her (4 year old) being shamed and sent it to us, that was one of many issues with Miss R. My child even got to where she didn't want to go, hated being left there. We got her in OT (occupational therapy) to try and help but she kept declining here. Needless to say, they gave up on my child as we were just getting the process started in helping her, because it's easier for them, after we were doing everything we could on our end but they fell short on theirs. We were "released" from all of their white oaks. We got her into another daycare that actually cares about guidance and teaching the kids and let me tell you, it's been a NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE with our child. She's been at her new place for over a month now and not ONE bad day. NOT ONE!!! My child is so happy and she actually wants to go there now. She's actually won "best kid" already and we keep being reassured they can't believe her past, she's so good!!! It just goes to show that LEADERSHIP and ENVIRONMENT matter!! I got to experience it first hand. Getting my child out of white oak was the best thing that ever happened for us and especially, my girl!

New to the area and didn't really check the reviews of this place. I had 8 months twin boys at the…read moretime and had several things we had concerns about. One was the attitudes of the daycare workers, one named Moisha and she would tell my mother on accusations very negative remarks about one of my twin boys. My kids stayed sick almost the whole 2 months they were there before we pulled them out. To expand, we picked them up they were ALWAYs dirty- faces weren't wiped, runny noses, crusty food on there clothes and face and looked disheveled. I was 7 months pregnant and they wouldn't help/ offer to take the boys to the car so I would have to carry both boys out to my car. They claimed they couldn't assist in taking the children out even knowing how hard it was on me. I had to bring my mother to help. As we continued to pick the boys up we always dealt with rude attitudes from the assistants in there crawler room they were in. I was very excited to start them at this daycare, but as time went on I changed my mind. One day, after my children were returning to the daycare after contracting hand food and mouth from this place, I texted the teacher after my kids had been out for over a week asking how the twins were doing and she stated "they are fine, you don't need to text me every day asking about them, I will text you if there is a problem" I thought this was very rude and disrespectful as a mother who just had two sick babies out and is asking for an update on how they were getting back acclimated with being back after since they were out over a week. It was about a week after that I pulled them out. I am not one to be knit picky about stuff and understand teachers are busy but this was uncalled for. I would not recommend this place to any parent to put their kids in. Read some of the other reviews. They are pretty bad.

I've been very happy with the overall quality of the program, the caregiver-to-child ratio, and the professionalism of the staff. Many of the parents who work at NGHS transferred their children here when the NGHS childcare center closed, which to me is a vote of confidence. In particular, Miss Shanice and Miss Christy have been taking good care of my son, who's been dealing with some separation anxiety after a stressful move. They receive several meals and are checked routinely for wet or dirty diapers. If an accident (even minor), they fill out a form describing the incident, which brings me a lot of peace of mind. In addition, there are multiple security cameras and a unique access code for each parent. I'm very pleased. Great job Tasha and Susan!
