She is never judgmental and always compassionate. Mary will help lead you through life with a positive outlook and give you the tools you need to move forward. After a year of seeing Mary, I decided to give reiki a try. Reiki is "a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being." At first the idea of reiki sounded crazy to me. But after my first experience of doing reiki with Mary I am a true believer in its powers. I highly recommend Rivers Journey Counseling.

I went on to try Reiki services (which I never tried before and was skeptical) and it was incredible! I have referred several friends and all have felt the same! It is hard to find someone who is both a Licensed Counselor and a Reiki Master Practioner. Let alone find one in the suburbs. Mary is both and is a god send. She is relatable, wise, positive, and funny. Her office is so relaxing and welcoming. Her love of what she does and the clients she serves shines through in her work, and her ability to combine traditional and non traditional therapies is a gift! Highly recommend River's Journey and am excited to go back!

I talked to Kelly when I made the appointment and thought she was very nice and was looking forward to meeting her. That night after I took my sister home I called Kelly again and said that I hoped that she was okay and that I was upset about her not being there and I have never heard back from her.
