I scheduled an appointment online for Tuesday at 6 pm, and they were ready to take my car right when I walked in. After inspecting my tires, they called to let me know that, while I did have a nail in one tire, all four tires were very worn with two below the legal limit and the other two not far behind. They recommended replacing all four tires, and I really appreciated how kind and patient they were in explaining my options. They gave excellent recommendations based on my driving habits and usage. I ended up getting a great deal with 70,000 mileage coverage for all four tires. They even noted that my last set lasted about 40,000 miles, so if I don't reach 70,000 miles with this set, I'll get credit toward future purchases with this brand. The service was quick, less than an hour total, and very communicative. I received text updates and a call when my car was ready. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Wow. Excellent location, service, and efficiency. I found a screw in my brand new 3 week old tires, and limped over to the closest discount 4 miles away with 1/2 my air pressure missing. I pulled in at 3 pm on a Saturday expecting it to be packed as it always is at every Discount Tire, but found no other cars in the parking lot and only 1 person waiting in the lobby. I was in shock but ecstatic. They said they could not repair the tire and had to replace but I had the road hazard warranty so it was only $25.70 to replace it. I also bought new windshield wipers since they were on sale, about $30. Since I could not see how many cars were in the bay at this location, I asked if it would take an hour or longer (their standard answer when they are not too busy). The sales rep laughed and said no, definitely less than an hour. I think it was under 25 minutes if I remember correctly. Fast, efficient, friendly service, like always at Discount tire. Great experience! Came in on a Monday with a flat tire (timely because I really needed a new set of tires anyway), Sammy was able to order the tires I needed and have them there the next day! He was even able to find an extra $100 off. The service was finished in less than 24 hours and I was able to pick my car up the next day. Jaggar V. and Michael provided the absolute best customer service to me when a low tire pressure warning light suddenly came on in my car. Before the tire went completely flat I drove straight to the Discount Tire on Garnett Avenue in Pacific Beach. At first, I thought my tire just needed some air so I got in the check tire pressure area. When it was my turn, I asked Michael to fill up my tires with air. Michael was very polite, professional and astutely said he would check all my tires to see if there was a nail in the tire, causing the low pressure. To my surprise, he actually found a nail in my right front tire that needed to be removed / repaired before the proper air pressure was inflated in the tire. Had Michael not done this preliminary safety tire inspection and found the nail... I would have driven off thinking my tires were fine but later would discover the tire would be flat again! Michael had prevented a possible car accident or breakdown on the road or freeway later that day as I continued driving. I am very grateful and appreciative that Michael did his job above and beyond the call of duty! I have been a loyal, long time Discount Tire customer since 1980 when I moved back to San Diego. Jaggar processed the free flat repair and included a free tire rotation at no charge! Everything was done within an 1 hour! Unbelievable, turnaround time and excellent customer service. Another easy experience at Discount Tire! This is my second time coming here to have my tires replaced, they are extremely knowledgeable and want the process to be easy. I made an appt online the day before. When I checked in, they nicely walked me through my tire options and then quoted me an hour wait. It was only 40 mins which was awesome. They also text you a link to track how long your car is taking. When they finished up they even had looked at my windshield wipers and suggested I replaced those as well. I went at 12:15 so parking wasn't bad but they have limited spots in front and then a lot in the back. The guys I've spoke with are always nice and friendly. Best customer service ever! I noticed a problem with one of my tires in the morning. I called the Discount Tire customer service line and a very friendly guy named Stan informed me that I had a warranty on the tires (thank God!) I went online and messaged the customer service chat and she ordered a replacement tire to be delivered that later day so I was able to make an appointment to come in and get the tire changed after work. I was expecting to have a wait a few days at least. I showed up a bit early to my appointment but they still took me and I was in and out in like 15 mins. The guy that helped me was super nice too. Due to a indicator light showing up on my car, I inspected my tire and realized that I had a screw embedded. I contacted the Lexus dealership where I purchased my car and subsequently purchased the new tires on my car within the last 15,000 miles and was subsequently told that the warranty was no longer valid for road hazard repairs. Pretty frustrated I decided to stop in at discount tire. The shop was very busy, but I was pleasantly greeted by the person who ended up assisting me, Jason. Jason, the service/ sales tech was so nice and polite. He took me to my car did the basic inspection and then instantly told me that my tire was repairable and that discount tire would do it for free. He then let me know about the integrity of the company, in business for over 60 years and how they will basically help out anyone, even if you didn't buy their tires. What a wonderful ray of light and honestly can't say enough about how much I appreciated this experience. Honestly, I have to say that after this experience, I will never buy my tires anywhere else. And I really hope that when I go back to buy tires, I can purchase them from Jason. He was a true gem and I think the spirit of what the company sells as their value proposition.
