9 times out of 10 I refer people to discount. However, this shopI say beware, double check everything every single time! I have spent a lot of money with discount. Multiple vehicles new rims and tires and this place has consistently had substandard work. If it's not a balancing issue it's an incorrect tire for the vehicle, or better yet a simple tire swap turns into changing out five tires but only loading 4 and not telling the customer about the missing $500 tire. How about loading two 35 inch tires in the back seat of a 90k truck and not covering them with the moving blankets I provided and wrapped previous tires with them so I know it can be done easily. Will I use them again? Sparingly as a trip to Albuquerque may save me a lot of time and money sadly. Customers don't need excuses, take responsibility and apologize and mean it. Stuff happens but make it right, don't make it worse. read more

Men cut in front of me, a woman, without comment or correction. Staff stand around doing nothing even when customers are waiting in line. On the other hand, once they call you up, they're friendly, efficient, and finish in less time than estimated. Also, simple repairs are free when you've bought your tires from them in the first place. read more

I'm so happy with the attention to detail I get every single time I stop in to my local Discount Tire Store. They are the busiest place every day, yet they take the time to customize the experience, so well worth the wait. I made an appointment to get my tires rotated because the line was so long and was able to get in an out in a really timely manner. I see that every person there has a good quality of customer relations and I was treated like a queen, very respectfully and with good sense. Contrast that with another shop I went to last week where the employees were condesending and rude. If I could give 10 stars, I would! I highly recomment this store and kudos to whomever trained all these workers and keeps them happy and customer-oriented! read more

Anyway to give this place a 10? Slow leak and there was no way I could keep driving it. Tire pressure light came on again after I had it checked 2 days ago. It was after 5pm (they close at 6) and they were able to fix it and help me get on my way. I was scared to drive my car and they made it right! There ended up being a nail in the sidewall and I had to get a new tire. Thank you for the coverage on my tires, it's worth it!! $23 for a new tire and I was on my way! Thank you guys so much! I really appreciate all the hard work and the help!!! read more

How are you going to tell someone to come back at 7:30 PM to pick up their tires and then CLOSE? When asked, but don't you close at 6? Said yup but we will text you around 7:30 Horrible service. Next time, give accurate answers instead of lying and closing the store. If you can't do the work in a timely matter when someone shows up at 5 pm to have wheels dismounted from the tire, SAY IT. read more

Everyone here is top notch! Very professional. I'm not sure if this is the "cheapest " place because I you should know you get what you pay for right. But I will say they are affordable! And quality is excellent and they they have excellent customer service skills! NO WHEN I SAY EXCELLENT.... This is what I mean... sadly- - my Dad was rushed to the ER his heart only functioning at 20% , my mom with her own heart issues alone at the ER ( I need to get to them in Albuquerque) and My son is in and accident at 2 am the night before ( all I heard his truck last seen in a ditch) he was missing! I NEEDED MY TIRE PUT ON QUICK! ISAAC helped me! I told him it was an emergency! And he help me in 30 mins! He will never know what that meant to me! THANK YOU! read more

So originally I made an appointment for 9 o'clock. I got there at 8:30. They told me they would get me in by 10. I was pissed. But then they get my car done by 9:15. I just wish they wouldn't tell me 10 o'clock when all I'm getting done is putting four new tires on a car that I already paid for the tires. read more

I went in this morning for new tires and these are awesome. Always so friendly and thorough with the service they provide. The quality and prices are fair. I have been a long time customer and the consistency in their customer service and work is amazing. Thank you guys! read more

Don't offer air pressure check if you're gonna let someone sit there 30 min after saying you'll be right back. Won't buy here ever

Something has changed. Yesterday they weren't doing air checks because they were understaffed. I tried calling today and after 20 minutes of being on hold, I hung up.No answer . I realize finding suitable employees that want to work in the post Covid environment is a challenge. However, I'm not too impressed with the state of discount tire in Los Lunas at this time. read more

Absolutely the BEST care and service I have EVER received at a Discount Tire. Stephen was awesome. He was informed of our horrible experience we just went through at a Discount Tire in Albuquerque (4600 Pan American Fwy), and he was so kind and professional. He had us SAFELY back on the road to Texas in less than an hour. We frequently go to Albuquerque, but will forever go to THIS store for all our needs. I HIGHLY recommend this store for all your tire needs! read more

I should be able to trust them to do what they say they're going to do. I asked them to fix the flat and rotate my tires. After I had an appointment, I waited almost an hour to get it fixed and supposedly "rotated". I trusted they did the job and drove all the way home. When I got home, I saw the same driver front tire was in the same spot. I KNOW it was the same tire because we had it marked with a yellow paint marker to mark the flat. Instead of rotating, they just said they did and sent me on my way. I hate that I can't trust them to do their job and my time is valuable. read more

useless 3 hrs wait to fix 1 flat tire they are insane I won't ever buy a tire from here again

So frustrated with the tires I bought and the defective tire. Came to just replace the back tires but the wait was 3 + hours. Really! Three hours. Guy told me to pull up and someone would come take all my information. Waited 20 minutes and no one showed up. I'd have spent over $700 today at DT but I took my business to another tire business. Seriously Discount - if your customers have to wait 3 hours maybe you should get more help. Remember customer service? read more

This time was Leo man. Dude went above and beyond to help me out with my screwed tires. all the guys here at discount are amazing,t know how to treat customers. If corporate reads these reviews please give these dudes raises or something! They deserve it read more

I took my van to discount tires and had new tires installed, after they had installed them a technician came and said if I had ever seen the tire sensor light on and I told him no. He said the tire sensor was broken and had probably broke before I took it to them. They wanted to charge me to replace it and I am pretty sure one of their techs broke it. I will use a different tire shop next time. That was disappointing. read more

I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Vince Garcia at Discount Tire in Los Lunas. I came in and had him look at my tires and he reminded me that I bought tires last year. I am so impressed with his integrity. I will continue to be a steady customer at Discount Tire. read more

LOVE this place!!! Best customer service I have experienced in a very long time. They actually have a call center which allows their reps to take as much time as needed in assisting their customers over the phone without interrupting the guys at the facility who are trying to get the work done. So when you are at the store you have their FULL attention, no phones ringing...BRILLIANT!!! If you schedule your appointment and choose your tires over the phone, they are ready and waiting when you arrive. I didn't even have time to finish my dinner next door before my new tires were in place and I was ready to hit the road again. FAST, FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AFFORDABLE! HIGHLY Recommend. Thank you Jerriko! read more

Got a flat on the way to work, filled it up thanks to my handy air tank I keep in the back seat. We crawl into the parking lot and see a lot of mechanics running around but none of them tell me where to park or even acknowledge me. By the time I guess where I can park and make my way inside some guy named Mike comes out and asks me to park in the parking behind the garage. He looks at the tire with his Guage and brings me inside. I asked him to also fill up my now empty air tank and he refuses. Mike gives me this excuse of special air pressure gages they use that prohibits then from filing up air takes. I knew he was lying to me when I could see their pressure air hoses. Plus filing up a 60 lb tank is just like putting air in a tire. Well I don't care about the tank but I really just want to go to work already 40 minutes Late. Now I'm just sitting in the lobby watching all the staff run to help the paying customers. (I would pay for the flat if they hustled for me the way they do for the paying customers). Wait, they just pulled my truck in... Let's see if they can redeem their self... Just staring down Mike in the lobby...comfortable chairs here... looks like they have coffee for the paying customers. A nice cup of Joe would be great after my morning with a flat, o well. Haven't seen one smile yet or ounce of customer service. Keeping up hope for this staff mabye they will wow me. No one working on my truck yet but it's in the garage. One step at a time right? It's an hour now that I have been here, 3 customers down I'm still here... While I'm waiting her I'm wondering why he asked me for my address and phone number to fix a flat anyway? O well there goes another customer, I'm still here. Spiky hair guy likes to text and laugh while we wait here, wondering what's so funny on his flip phone? Another manager guy comes out with a paper and tells me to wait for my truck outside. Wow. Absolutely no customer service. Never coming here for tires. One star for the comfy seat and aroma of fresh coffee. read more

Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Los Lunas, New Mexico

This discount tire location was amazing. I am on a road trip from Santa Fe to Tucson. I had trouble on the side of the road. I managed to make it back to Los Lunas to this discount tire. So coming from a family of tire repair owners and having worked in a tire shop for many years. It should and cannot take this long for a basic flat repair. I have literally been here for 57 minutes. I cannot imagine if I was getting a new set of tires or rotate and balance. But it literally has taken over an hour for this repair. But the non surprising thing is every time I have had to visit a Big O Tire or Discount this is the norm. I guess I'm a bit spoiled from experiencing working in a family tire business and making sure our customers were in and out quickly. We provided fast service and guaranteed work. Those days seem to be gone as far as showing initiative. I should of expected this I guess. Bonus part is I didn't have to pay for the repair which completely is t true because I am now late to my job and my time spent here was very unproductive. read more

Had a great visit at DT today. I knew they closed at 5pm today (Saturday) and ran a little late. About 10 till when I was on my way there I called in to let them know I was coming and my situation. David was extremely polite and asked what I was driving. I pulled up and he walked right up to my car and gladly helped out. I have family that lives close by and will recommend this shop to them as gladly as I was assisted. David was a great big help with a great big smile. read more

I came down with my granddaughter to get a nail removed from my left rear tire The man said it would take about an hour twenty minutes. They forgot about us. Then when I reminded them I was here they rushed my work order only to tell me that my right front tire was fine. No nail. It was the rear left. So they rushed again and finally got the flat fixed in a record 2 hours 14 mins. So yeah they ruin my day with my granddaughter read more

Yelp does not allow me to give a zero star they do not even deserve one star! Attempted to get a flat tire fixed on my fifth wheel backed the rig in because the parking lot did not allow for a complete turnaround the worker wanted us to pull back out of the driveway and pull back in doing a 90° turn to line our RV up into their bay which was possible but anyone who drives A fifth wheel with a triple axel knows that the tires will roll it's not the best option so we left without getting our tire fixed and had to call AAA we became customers at discount tire because there is no less Schwab east of Reno Nevada after spending over $1200 on tires this is the service we get! if it was less Schwab they would drive out to wherever your flat was and fix the tire for you discount tire sucks. Put a call into the regional office let's see where that gets us HORRIBLE customer service! read more

I had flat tire and went there, they fixed it with no charge. I had under sized tires on my pathfinder and they would not fix my flat the next time at all even if I wanted to pay them. They operate on very strict rules there, most of the time you will have to wait and deal with all the safety rules they follow. I still bought a tire for my wife's car on 2/27/15. Customer service can be hit or miss, but it is a tire place, unless I'm blonde with a 36dd pulling in your not gonna get an all star service at any tire shop I know of. Overall it is clean and professional for this two horse town. I wish I could rate the drivers in this town but yelp doesn't give negative stars. I like the store overall, they could be friendlier than they are, been this way since the store opened it probably ain't gonna change either. Hope my review helps someone read more

I went in to buy new tires for one of my trucks, I've been buying tires from these guys for over 15 years! This was the worst experience ever! The tire I wanted and have on a couple other trucks wasn't in stock, Ez (the store clerk) was amazing showing me different sizes and tire types. But really what I wanted was what was proven to us and wore well. He said to try a different tire for the weekend and if I didn't like it to bring it back and they would install the others at no cost, so I did. I didn't like the ride or performance and took it back to get the tires replaced. I know this must have cost the store money but it wasn't my idea. EZ wasn't at work and I had to deal with a different guy. I felt bad and even looked at some rims to buy to try and help make up their loss. The whole experience was unpleasant and unprofessional, to top it off he (Chris) the store manager had to be reminded he owed me money back because the tires that I wanted were cheaper!!! Ugh!!! And I sat there fo 20 minutes as my truck was there and ready,,,, no phone call no text!!! I just took $80 in store credit and left!!!! Worst experience ever!!! Big 0 and Walmart are right around the corner and Albuquerque isn't far away either!!! Nobody respects the business anymore!!!! read more
