I then asked what the final price would be for replacing the spring on a single door (9'x7'). He then gave me a total price of $522. I then explained the I had a spring replaced at my other house for $225. His demeanor changed and he started talking about OD. He said I would call PD out after to fix what OD messed up. He also said that OD makes their own springs insinuating that OD springs were inferior. He showed me a date in the tension piece on the spring that indicated the date the spring was made, insinuating that OD would use old springs.
