Now I can only imagine what a horrible job it is to triage inbound calls in Baltimore City to a law firm, however it's pretty easy to tell that I am a well informed patient with a college degree, not some Shmoe jumping in front of a bus. A paralegal should be able to figure that out and adjust their tone accordingly . She said I didn't have a case- which may or may not maybe right- but she wouldn't take 30 sec to clearly explain why, she was grandstanding and actually using legal jargon . Next firm I call, completely different experience--courtesy, understanding, clarity, and all within 2 mins of his time. I don't understand how the image and practice could be so different.
