    Vacation hold service | rude staff…read more I come here often to mail packages. I've placed a hold on my mail delivery many times, but this last service was frustrating. First, they started holding my mail two days before the selected date. I needed my packages to be delivered before I left on my vacation, so that was not helpful. Why even ask the start date if they decide the date of service for you?!?!? Second, I opted to pick up my mail when I'm back. I came back from vacation a day late. I tried to pick up my mail the next day and am told the mail person is delivering it for me. Again, why select online that I'll pick it up myself when they're making the decision for me?!?! In the past, I've interacted with the staff. One older lady who has worked there a long time said, "your package needed a signature and wasn't delivered because of your door sign. You haven't removed that?" My sign says not to knock or ring the door bell, please. There is a reason for it and it's because I have a sleeping baby. Yes, lady, I will keep that sign up and it's none of your business!!

    I made an appointment to get a passport and waited weeks for the time to come. I read all the…read moredirections carefully and had all my paperwork ready. They made me stand there and wait for the exact time of the appointment, even though they weren't doing anything else. The passport appointment started out OK, until they revealed something shocking that they hadn't advised me about in any of the instructions: The only payment they can take is cash or money order. This is a crazy requirement considering the high cost of a passport, and no one carries that kind of cash with them nowadays. I made a mad dash to some banks and my home and somehow managed to scrape together the cash. But when I returned to the post office, I was informed that the passport person had simply run off without saying a word to me, and now there was no one there who could help me, plus it would take weeks for me to get another appointment. This office robbed me of hours of my time and accomplished nothing. I drove 15 miles to find a Post Office with people who actually knew what they were doing, and they were able to get the whole thing sorted out even without an appointment. As a final bonus middle finger, I have no idea if I owe them money for the pictures they took, since they bailed in the middle of the process. I called them to ask, and their phone just rang and rang. No answer and no voicemail.

I'm startled to see the negativity in the reviews, and while I don't condone the experiences fellow yelpers have shared, here's what our recent experience was like: Too Big For My Car was tapped by the furniture retailer for delivery. Honestly, the service was impeccable from the beginning: - Once the items were in the warehouse, we got a scheduling link to an online scheduling system to find a day* that works for us, along with paying the delivery fee. (*As is the nature of the industry, we didn't get to pick a time, and that was a unknown until the day before the delivery.) - The day before the delivery, we got a reminder email/text asking us to confirm, along with a 4 hour delivery window, with a more specific ETA. - The day of, the link showed us a status tracker where we could see helpful information like our stop number, an updated ETA window, and when we were about 45 minutes, we were alerted. At that time, the map showed us the vicinity of where the delivery crew were located, in real-time. And then, came delivery! As is the status quo, it's a lovely spring (read: rainy) day, and we're in the no-shoes-in-house-please camp. While we rummaged to find our shoe covers, the crew (Miguel and Daniel) were so respectful when they arrived! Miguel and Daniel rolled out a carpet with a plastic bottom (red, fitting, huh, after the money just spend on furniture ;) ), and continued laying down carpet on the path they'd walk so they wouldn't soil our carpet our make our floors all wet. Then Miguel and Daniel went back and assembled the furniture in their truck, before bringing it out, carefully. I appreciated that they had a cloth on top so that our pieces wouldn't be getting wet. Miguel and Daniel took the time to carefully set the furniture how we'd envisioned and then, just like that, after taking a few photos to confirm sound delivery and a signature from us indicating our approval, the red carpet was rolled and off they went.     This company is absolute trash and I'm trying to leave a review for every site possible. Ordered…read morefurniture from a company and they use this company for delivery. They give you a 4 hour window during the work week and no options on the day for the delivery. Then, they give you a 10 minute ETA. So not at home at the time and because they only deliver to my side of town only on Thursday and Friday, have to wait another week to get my furniture. I really hope companies stop using them so they can go out of business. Should not be allowed to operate. I will do my best to bring their stars down. Do not use this company.
