I'm giving this one 3.5.
It's a decent gym, but if you're serious about training, falls short on few things here and there.
First of all, it has a squat rack. It's not the best squat rack and there's only one, but considering that barely anyone ever uses it -- you should be good.
The free weight section is ok: dumbbells go up to 46kg, but kettlebells unfortunately only up to 24kg (and there's only one 24kg bell, so forget double snatches or thrusters).
There's a standard mix of machines and treadmills, but surprisingly no regular (straight) pull-up bar -- only some kind of hybrid-handles on one of the machines; you can do neutral or wide pull-ups but not regular ones. Also prepare to bump with your head into the ceiling which is too low for this machine. Finally, if you'd like to do weighted pull-ups, you'll need to come with your own weight belt -- gym doesn't have any, although you can improvise with regular belt and neck harness :)
There's a stretching area but if you need a foam roller, you'll need to ask for it to be unlocked from the cage with equipment.
There's a heavy bag but it's inconveniently placed right by the entrance, and you can't kick it.
From the other good things -- they have paralletes, couple rowing machines, some bands, and even battle ropes (although they're bizarrely light).
All in all -- lots of good stuff but also lots of small things that spoil experience a bit. read more
