Dipea is a fast food chicken wings joint. They have couple location around the island. The Hato Rey location is a stand that shares space with a couple others. The space is basically a line of stands and an open communal balcony with tables. There is a parking lot i. The rear. It's usually free, but one night they tried to charge us. I don't remember if it was a weeknight or weekend. There is also street parking available if you can find a spot.
Dipea means to dip. As such, they have a variety of dipping sauces to choose from. The wings come naked. I went with the order of 8 wings. It included 2 dipping sauces and 1 side for $9 plus tax. I wanted to try the house sauce but they were out. Instead, I went with the guava bbq and the ranch. For the side my son wanted tostones. They call your name when the order is ready. The wings were plain and simple, but good. There were about two mini wings but the rest were decent sized. My son loved the guava bbq sauce. The ranch was your classic ranch. The tostones weee big and crispy. I liked them. They sell alcohol. They are known for their mojitos. Overall, I liked this place. read more
