The reason they gave me is that Aetna would only cover my appointment if I had kidney disease or diabetes. I have NAFLD, chronic hepatitis, and possibly chronic pancreatitis. Their moods go from "What can we do for you? We're here to help."" to "We're obligated to see you because we have an agreement with the state." Leaves a sour taste in your mouth to be treated like a second-class citizen. No complaints about Dr. Schweitzer, as he seems to be the type of primary care doctor I need: straight-forward, truthful, no BS, and doesn't treat you like you know nothing.

I went to the ER and on their discharge papers that they gave me, they wanted me to go to my primary doctor within a week. I called Monday, got an appointment set up for Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. Due to unforeseen construction on the Redlands, we were 10 minutes late to our appointment and they turned us away and told us we had to reschedule to another day.
