When I gave her secretary that message, Mrs. Horton called me RIGHT BACK like I was the most important person in the world at that moment. After that, I believe important to seek a second opinion. I came to Butterfield to see if he was going to understand what I was proposing. He took the time to do the math and think about what I was actually coming up with. And he acknowledge that what I had done was actually smart and worth keeping. So, because he made an effort to be open minded and make sense of my ideas, I knew I could trust him to be able to vouch for me. We then proceeded to a cohabitation agreement that was fair for all parties. -----If you are buying a house or condo with someone and each of you have a different amount of money for down payment, go to him. He will provided you now with a contract with a math formula that actually reflects reality and market value instead what is commonly done by other law firms (they follow inflation unfortunately, which is not the same as market value). cheers!
