My wife had a salads and I opted for the cheese burger with added bacon, and a side of fries. The drinks were great as well, We so wish that the U.S. would adopt the serving style where the alcohol is in the glass and they bring the soda in a bottle to be added at the table. In the U.S., it usually comes from a soda gun that might, or might not be clean, and is always flat. My burger was cooked medium, with a bit of pink, just the way I like it. The fries were soft in the middle with a slight crunch to them, with flaky salt. My wife's salad had a bit too much dressing for her tastes but I thought it was good. We have started sharing meals this way, as our appetites are smaller now that we are getting a bit older.

But rather than ketchup, mayo, or some special dressing...this burger comes with nacho cheese as its condiment. Again the name: Cheese Explosion. They offer several dipping sauces (try the curry sauce!!! So good and a very mild curry flavor). They don't carry the typical fountain sodas, but a bottle of Fritz Cola is an excellent upgrade substitute for Coca Cola! The restaurant is immaculately clean, with likewise clean and nice restroom facilities. I enjoyed a very pleasant lunch here--as an English speaker stranded in Munich due to an epic snowstorm, it was also pretty cool that the staff spoke Englisch.

There are endless sauces at the table to spice up your burger and fries. You can "pimp your fries" as well which makes them super fancy, I prefer simpler things so I just went with the basic garlic. I don't think they were quite prepared for the busy day and were slightly short on staff to service all the people sitting outside and in. As the outside was full we decided to sit in. They have about 40-50 seats outside and maybe a few more than that inside. They have an extensive menu from breakfast through to Bavarian classics, salads, soups and burgers. I decided to have the bacon cheese burger for lunch along with one of my favorite beers Augustiner Dunkles Weißbier ;-) The burger was perfectly cooked (medium) and, it was really nice and juicy without adding any sauce. I loved it and would happily come back here for that combo alone ;-)) Whilst the service started really slow it picked up soon enough and the staff were very attentive.
