I received 2 tickets and went with my mum on a Saturday night. The staff are super polite and courteous. There's a coat rank at the front where you can leave your bulky coats so it's easier to take pictures. I personally only wanted to take pictures in the mirror/light room and the rainbow angel wings. There are some other cool 3D paintings (~8-10 paintings in total, I kind of forgot how many painting there were). It took about 20 minutes in total for me, only because I didn't take pictures at all the individual paintings. It's quite quiet in there, which was a tad bit awkward for me as it is a small space and there were about 3 other pairs in the space with us. There are these stickers on the floor which indicates where your photograph should stand for the optimal picture angles. Don't miss the prism/mirror thing near the front desk reception by the coat racks, you can take some trippy/funny photos there as your face gets duplicated many times in the prism. Try a video as well. Thank you Eric and Yelp for this Yelp Elite Event! It was my first non-food event, which was interesting for sure.

What an amazing time! Im not much of an arts person, but this place was such a wonderful and unique experience! Its almost like picture magic! Me and my family Loved every minute of it and made sure we got enough pictures. Thanks to yelp events for sponsoring this event! We all wished the venue was bigger and had more backdrops and choices, but overall, we still had fun. Highly recommended for some quality and intriguing IG shots. Staff very helpful and accommodating! Tip: there are no washrooms on the premises. Closest one is the waves on the corner. Tip: dont forget to look through the kaleidoscope tunnel! You will miss it if you dont look hard enough or ask...its hiding in plain view lol. Cheers! Stay safe!

It's fun. It's just a bit overpriced. $25/pers, they have about 10 stations, you'll be done in 30min. It was entertaining for my family. We showed up with 6ppm without booking so it's possible to not book ahead. However it's a small venue so better save a timeslot to be sure.

My friend saw this on Instagram, so we made our reservation on what turned out to be its first day. It's a fairly small space with about 16 cool scenes ideal for picture taking made by local artists. The issue with some of the backgrounds is that they're a little on the small side and so a little photo editing is required to cut out the floor, ceiling, or a bit of the neighboring backdrop. I also hope they plan on updating these backgrounds regularly in order to lure customers back for repeat visits. We asked the staff member about how long the entire experience would take and she said anywhere from 20-45 minutes. It took us 45 minutes; we would've finished a lot sooner if we weren't stumped by how to pose with one of the backgrounds. The staff are pretty awesome. They are enthusiastic and incredibly helpful from providing tips on how to pose for the best shot to holding the camera for your group shot. Im not sure how many people they plan on booking per time slot, but I think if it gets too busy, you're going to run into trouble. It'll be too crowded, the staff won't be available to assist and you might run into waiting for others to finish at certain backdrops. As we left, it started getting busy; a little too crowded for my liking during these times, although masks and hand sanitizer are available at the front desk and staff remind you to maintain social distance. (none of the staff wore masks themselves though) It was a pretty fun experience and my first time doing something like this. I'd go again if they rolled out new backgrounds every so often, otherwise this would just be a one time only activity.

Vancouver location Honestly not the best spot for 33$ it was a waste of money,it was like 6 different like spots to take pictures, didn't even look 2D looking

From the moment we went in the store, the staff were very accommodating. Got our tickets for 6pm but we arrived early and they still let us in. Overall, very fun place to visit! We spent an hour there just taking a bunch of pictures we ended up having 100+ photos and videos after an hour. We got a bunch of inspiration from their Instagram account and just copied them so make sure to check out their Instagram as well. Highly recommend especially for a fun night out! I did it with my sisters and we all loved it! Thank you for having us and for Eric for organizing the event!

Very cool activity that is family friendly or perfect for a date night. The staff were attentive to assisting with group photos. There were many areas to take pictures that we enjoyed. Helped us be creative.

This was a pretty neat Yelp experience! Glad I got to enjoy and experience the first ever Vancouver immersive interactive 3D art gallery. It's similar to another gallery I've been to (moon & back gallery) instead of rooms it's more like a hallway here with many walls of painted art murals to take pictures with. I like that there are standing markers (yellow foot stickers) on the floor to direct where to take photos kinda like the best angle you can take it from. It can be helpful but at times it's still hard to capture the entire picture. Also some places I wouldn't know what to do, it would be nice if there was more directions like sample photos to get an idea of how to take pictures with some of the trick eye room (like the sideways room). I wish there were more rooms and bigger space with bigger murals, otherwise the service was nice when staff or other people would ask if we would like a photo taken, very helpful! I'd say the experience could take less than an hour, we had spent like 30-40 min here.

This gallery is the perfect space to showcase art: there's much natural light from the window walls, and it feels quite large due to its open floor plan, light wooden floors and stark white walls. There's an upstairs loft as well (which I didn't check out. There appeared to be textiles up there, although I am not sure). Despite feeling large in scale, the gallery itself feels inviting, and it encourages wandering about - as any good gallery would! This place showcases artwork from Zimbabwe and there's an abundance of sculptures here made of natural stones. The works have both a primitive and a contemporary feel about them (quite the dichotomy, I know, but it's true). Personally, I am not a fan of African sculptures, but I definitely appreciate the workmanship and the art-form. That said, I am a big fan of modern, abstracted paintings, and this gallery had many, many gorgeous paintings by Zimbabwean artists that were stunning: some vibrant and bold, some with slightly more subtle palettes, all remotely impressionistic but not quite, reflecting an African influence in the way they portray their subject matter. The painted works were what drew us in to this gallery; many were show-stoppers. The lady who was behind the desk when we were here seemed wrapped up in some project on her computer. We were not greeted or engaged in any conversation. Which was fine with us as we preferred to wander and browse at our own individual pace(s). Still, we enjoyed our exploration of this gallery and we plan on returning when we next visit the Island.

Jennifer the gallery manager was there today and was funny and pleasant to deal with. I told her what I was looking for and and she pulled out her trusty laptop and ran through a bunch of artists that they represent and described each of the artists perspective to me. I found some pieces that I liked by David Tycho and dropped the bomb on Jennifer that I would need then on a Remembrance day which is a stat for most... with out even skipping a beat she offered to meet me on her day off to get me the art I needed.....wow! Extra special thing today I happened to be there at the right time because I had the chance to meet the gallery owner Mat Petley-jones nephew of the late Canadian and British artist Llewellyn Petley-Jones. three thumbs up from this yelper!

It's a gorgeous 2-floor monument to the legendary Haida master artist, Bill Reid (1920 - 1998), and other established and upcoming artists. Before our visit, Gayle and I had never seen a museum like this. Outstanding! The museum space is full of natural light, great viewing angles, and compact enough to see it all and comprehensively in a relatively short period of time. We were overwhelmed with the sculptures, paintings, jewelry, and more, but not in a huge museum sort of way. The folks here know their art were more than happy to explain anything we asked. Their well curated gift shop is an extension of that. If you want a manageable deep dive into Haida and related art, and find yourself saying "Oh Wow!) at lot, this is your place.
