Pre-ordered 2 1/2 kegs for an event only to realize when we went to tap one it was the wrong beer…read more It was too late so we had to use it. Upon returning kegs and taps, one of the managers looked and said "oh yes, yours is still back there. You know we can't refund you for it." I told her I did not expect them to refund me for beer that has been drank, but to acknowledge that they gave me the wrong beer. There was no my apologies this happened. Nothing she walked off. I would hope management should be trying to set an example of customer service.

A friend brought me, she recommended the Michelada, I think? (It had shrimp in it, all I remember besides tomato juice.) yeah that wasn't for me and tbh I didn't really see anything else on the menu besides that at the time. They were nice people though. Well we fast forward to July 27 and my husband was curious about the place. We went through and I automatically saw a mango slushy thing going to work so I got excited. But when we got up there they only had the tomato stuff to offer until we asked "Are you *SURE* there's nothing else?" The young lady said well we have #15 but it's not ready & it's mango. We asked how did it taste? She said she never tried it. So she poured us a small sample in a cup. It was so good, so fruity!! We ordered that & then waited for it to get ready, about 5 mins. They told us to pull forward & we waited as she brought it out. The very next day we hosted company & I wanted another to try. So my brother-in-law ride over there with us and bought two #5(s) with no Smirnoff. My husband & I got the blueberry #15. Let's just say my sister-in-law was steamed because she wanted a drink, not food/ fruit. When he returned to her without booze she says it was pretty but sure it would have looked BETTER with a Smirnoff in it. My husband gave her his drink & he ate the fruit cup. He said it was good. My brother-in-law said it was good. Everything tasted fresh and they didn't over do it with the Lucas.

I know I had written a review of this supermarket at a previous time, but I'm not seeing it. So,…read morethis review of Randall's in the "South Bay" is a fresh one as opposed to an update. I read reviews of supermarkets in general and see that people are going off based on one interaction or one experience with merchandise. Except for some bargain type supermarkets in sketchy neighborhoods where they are probably conditioned and instructed to view everyone with suspicion, this negativity does not come my way at most chain supermarkets. Randall's is part of the Safeway family of supermarkets which also includes Safeway (obviously), Vons, and Dominick's, whose catchment area I'm not familiar with. That said, I went in here and ... badda bing ... my Safeway club card worked. The price points of their items are just like those of Safeway and Vons. They are in the mid-range, with some items featured at good prices. That's why you should read your supermarket flyers ... to find those items. I have bought things from the aisles here but, at this location, I have mostly eaten sandwiches from their deli. Now, while they don't have the excellent spread of sandwiches like Safeway (and Vons) had up on their sandwich board about a decade ago, such as the tender Tuscan chicken and hearty meatloaf sandwiches, you can't complain about a nicely decked out, custom made sandwich for $ 5.99. It's practically a complete meal. I could go with a 3 or a 4 with this Randall's. Yes, the employees come in at about a 3. I won't go into detail. Their merchandise and its prices come in at about a 4. How manicured the shopping center, the parking, the circulation to the major streets, and the neighborhood are make for about a 5. The store itself looks like a 4 from the outside but, then, once inside, it doesn't have the higher ceilings that the exterior seems to suggest. Overall, this Randall's is a much better than average supermarket in a very nice area.
