Victor Black has been my advisor for approximately 25 years. He began by listening to my parents…read morewho lived in California and the product that they were looking at. He advised them from the beginning that he was not able to sell in the state of California because he was there, but he said he would look at the products. My parents visited it often. He never tried to sell them when they were visiting in Texas and I admired that I come from a sales background, and I know how valuable time is. I also was most attracted to his sincerity, honesty, and later on when I was able to put some Investments together he's the first one I thought of. He has a number of my Investments and he's been very patient with me when I have forgotten how some of them work to explain it to me every single year every time I called. He'd come in to the office with his partner, Eddie and explain to me again one specific Investment that I have finally taken advantage of it had a rider on it. It's a little bit of extra $ each year as I take it in one swell swoop. It's one of my vacation funds. So if you're just starting out or you're wanting to change or add another Advisor to your phone, I recommend Victor Black and his partner Eddie Boyd. They're a good team.

We recently had to file a claim for major damage to our home. State Farm adjuster, Rick Bell, came…read moreout, immediately assessed the damage, helped us find contractors from whom to choose, and processed all the necessary paperwork in a professional and timely manner. The main office adjuster, Gloria Jarvis was the most professional and helpful person I have ever dealt with. She helped us arrange lodging, made sure my husband's health issues were her first consideration in handling our lodging and the entire claim. She processed all the complicated paperwork in the timeliest fashion, and made the whole process as painless as possible. Any problems that came up, she helped us handle immediately. Additionally, Pam in the local office was incredibly helpful with processing details, working to expedite necessary documentation, and just offering expert advice on what we needed to do when. In the midst of all this, my daughter totaled her car, and this claim was also handled seamlessly. I couldn't reccommend any agency more highly.
