Walking into 1/2 of 1/2 and eyeing a $48 blouse marked down to $12 and further marked down to $6 was just unbelieveable. This is what outlet shopping WAS. Remember? Before garments were made for outlet retail. The Good: Oooh. When it's good, it's so very good. Scoring a CK linen skirt for $14, bliss. Knowing that more stock will arrive every week and the fully marked items will be discounted a further 1/2 off... pure temptation. The knowing gleam in the sweetly helpful shop ladies' eyes. So hooked. The Bad: It's discounted for a reason so diligently inspect. Me, I'm handy with a sewing machine so a lot of problems aren't biggies. Many of the knits have runs and pulls. Zippers are pesky. Darts misaligned. Lots of etcs... And the shoes have all obviously been worn. But don't lose heart! There are gems here. You just have to look, which is another "bad" - it can be overwhelming. Really overwhelming. Pace yourself. NOTE: Finding this place can be just as hard as finding a perfect D&G slipdress. Look for the garish yellow and black neon sign near the Kings Chinese Buffet.

This, by far, is one of the smalles JCPenny stores I've ever been into. Since I know they've recently renovated, I'll assume the size of the store is suited for the visitors it generally sees, therefore I won't judge based on my big city opinions.

I am not very familiar with Dollar Tree or Dollar General type stores, not because I'm a snob. I simply prefer the .99 Cents stores instead. However, I had to buy some conditioner and more body lotion and required chips, Gatorade and some fruit to save me from the terribly over-priced restaurant located at the Hilton I was staying at. I had a little trouble finding water bottles and settled for Dasani--not my fav brand. The cheapest generic Vaseline was a huge container the TSA would never let me bring home on the plane. However the cashier was pleasant; the customers not too sketchy and I got out of there with .02 cents change back on my $10 bill. Altogether, not too bad for a quickie stop for bare necessities. 4 YELP STARS.

Honey also assisted me with trying clothes on in the fitting room and even directed me to the sale rack in the back where I found some items to purchase as well. Came in just to browse and ended up leaving with a large bag of high quality and extremely comfortable outfits and a cute pair of sunglasses I didn't know I needed. Entire store has great vibes, smells like incense, and there is so much to browse, from crystals to unique jewelry/fashion accessories and inspired home decor to incense and oils and books...so much you wouldn't realize you wanted until you're there and also great as gifts for your alternative friends. I went to go take my husband to look for new work shoes while we were on vacation. There were 3-4 employees there on a Monday afternoon and everyone was super friendly. My husband got his feet scanned to see which shoes and sizes would be best suited for him. It was a pretty cool machine that showed your arch, width and also measured your feet. The 2 ladies ended up helping both my husband and son find shoes that fit them perfectly! The prices were about the same as anywhere else for Hoka and they had the colors that my son wanted (in Houston Texas no one had them in stock). They had us sign up for a reward program that was free so that we could use those towards future purchases. When they found out we were from out of town they both gave us helpful tips on where to go and how to get there. I would definitely recommend trying this place out if you need work shoes or tennis shoes. Service is amazingly friendly, helpful and genuine! Give these folks a raise! Not many people these days are kind,come to work with a smile and go above and beyond!
