So, I have a couple of issues that I deal with consistently. First off, I feel like I have a ton of content and "tools" but with no real strategy or concise way of implementing and tracking their use. Second, whenever I speak to agencies about these problems, the typical response is "product" based from my standpoint. In other words, they want market or do SEO as another tool, as opposed to develop a cohesive strategy and framework to support the underlying tools and tactics. They address concerns at the surface level without digging deep into WHO my clients are, and how to use education to build relationships with my potential clients. It feels to me like marketing the equivalent of talking at someone, vs. adding value and solving problems and making peoples lives better as a way to build my business.
So, I came across Digitopia and found them on Yelp. When I reviewed their site, I came across their "blueprint". Their blueprint is REALLY cool. It is the starting point of everything I've been trying to explain to other marketing companies. It defines the client SPECIFICALLY that we target, aims to better understand who they are, where they live, and what information they consume. Then, it calculates mathematically some metrics related to keeping ad spends profitable, which is obviously beneficial, and further than most agencies even get to discussing. Then, most impressively for me - it walks through a multi-pronged funnel-based strategy to take people from strangers to fans through organized, relevant and targeted information designed to take people to the next step in the relationship. REALLY cool. For someone like me who likes structure, and was absolutely craving a framework to organize efforts with so I felt a little less of a "shotgun" approach, this is just really cool.
The blueprint was so helpful, the videos explaining how to use the blueprint are super helpful, and my call with Krystina was super helpful. Krystina was super inquisitive, asked questions and didn't throw a sales pitch, and clearly was looking for the best fit, vs. trying to sell a product. My experience with Digitopia thus far has been fantastic, and I am really looking forward to working with them in whatever capacity makes sense.
I don't write a ton of reviews, and i work in a business that is VERY customer service driven, so I am really sensitive to customer service, systems, etc. These guys have been really great thus far. Super highly recommended. read more
