I original gave this company a positive review. Boy was I wrong. Here's why: Throughout the building of the site, they were good. Turnaround time was sometimes a problem, changes taking much longer than expected or stated, but I was willing to wait to get it right. Once I signed off, even though there were a few items to be completed, everything changed. They REALLY wanted me to review their work, which I did. After going live, there were several things that did not work or were not completed as promised. Examples: The email system did not work - I never received an email through the website. Vendors could not signup online or pay - a MAJOR problem. I liked the look of the forms they developed, but they don't work. Vendors called saying they could not submit or pay. Same with any of the payment portals. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After multiple times of trying to get these worked out, staff stopped returning my calls or answering my emails.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After registering a complaint with our state Attorney General, I did get to speak to someone who told me we needed to purchase a maintenance contract at several hundred dollars/yr. This was never discussed anywhere in my RFP or their submission. I asked them to turn over full control of the website to me and was told I did not have the expertise to manage the site and it required their programers to function properly. They hosted our site with Hostinger, so I went on to Hostinger's site to take back control and could not without permission from Digital Software Labs. DSL would not respond to my requests for this. We purchased our domain - .org - but we cannot get it back from DSL. Since all this transpired, I've learned how to build our website, host it, and manage every aspect of the website. I did this on Hostinger.com with their website builder assistance. Everything works, I get emails, vendor signup and payment, registrations for a conference, an online store, link genealogy sites, etc. AND. . . I did it all for under $350.00. I've asked for a refund of at least DLS hosting fee - which is not forthcoming. I also want our .org domain as I had to build our new site with a different domain - .com, which doesn't best describe us. I thought I did my due diligence when searching for a reliable company, I spent historical society money - which was a hard sell. I have been embarrassed by promoting a site that did not function properly and lost face with the organization by not delivering what I promised. Thankfully, I have re-established my reputation as a reliable member and delivering what I promised by learning to do this on my own. Believe me, you can do this on your own. read more

My website was gorgeous!! It was interactive and eye-catching. I wound up not launching my company so I did not use the website. Mike Murphy and David Johnson helped to come to an agreeable amount to settle on. They understood that people change plans in life and were sensitive to my circumstances. SAD SAD EDIT - unfortunately they decided to go back on their word of refunding me $1200. So many of the services were never even completed. I am paying for a domain address that doesn't even exist. I am a teacher who lives paycheck to paycheck and I had gathered just enough money to start a therapeutic horse learning program called "Horse Powered Reading" I saw the $300 website design advertisement on their webpage and all of the certifications with BBB and TP that they had I trusted them. As soon as I said that I would like to go ahead with the project David began calling me many times during the work day and although he was polite, all of the calls were not necessary and a bit rude. I would be teaching children and he would call perhaps 3 - 4 times. Finally, when I could I would respond, only to be in yet another long meeting where he needed more money. As soon as they realized I didn't know what was doing (tech talk-wise) they began talking and spitting out numbers of all the prices. I was told to write them down bit by bit. (wouldn't that be his job to create an invoice?)When we finally got to the bill being $2000 I told him that I could not proceed and that it was too much. He didn't seem to understand why I couldn't pay any more money so I stopped talking with the company. Of course, David continued to contact me day and night and say things like..."Don't worry about money yet" and then somehow every time I was on the phone with him (way too many times than needed as he went over the same things that he went over last time, he would mention something that HAD to be done, such as social media management, content editing... I have a family, a job, and a farm to take care of but I was spending hours on Zoom with David. I kept telling him I could not spend more, but he aggressively sold and literally, I felt like I could not hang up unless I went and found my purse. He took advantage of my ignorance and made me believe I had to pay for all of these extra services even when I didn't want to. He had no respect for my time or my wishes. His supervisor Mike Murphy offered to refund $1200 but then the next morning he changed his mind due to circumstances that do not even pertain to me. I was the client. He decided not to honor his promise to refund $1200 because of outside influences. What happened to the client being the most important, not other people? Yes, my sister was upset. But you did business with me, not her. I am sad that I have to write this review. I gave this company 100% trust. I believed in what they said (no more spent than $2000) and was not prepared for the aggressive upselling that occurred during every Zoom call. I have lost trust in your company. You are not who you said you were. Sad, broke ex-customer, literally can not afford to buy my son and daughter any other food except for ramen noodles. That $4000 was supposed to be my means to survival over the summer .. it's July 23 we are only halfway through summer and I can not afford to buy groceries, gas, or pay my mortgage.
