From there, it was smooth sailing. We picked our colors, got to painting, and just... talked. And that's where this place shines. It creates space for real conversation without it feeling forced. You're doing something with your hands, you're laughing at each other's designs--it's low pressure but still intentional. The staff checked on us regularly, which I appreciated. My only critique? And we have not been disappointed! We continue to have truly great teachers, that you can actually interact with every day at drop off and pickup and build relationships with them. I highly encourage anyone who is interested to schedule a tour or go to one of the open houses. Not only is it a charming environment, you will be amazed at how much more they manage to cover than just the basics. There is a focus on fine arts and performances, which are so great for confidence building. But they also get into robotics, go on cool field trips, and seem to have more fun events and activities than you might get in public school. The summer camp sessions are great, too! We'll be very sad to move on after 4th grade!

I've been attending an evening adult calligraphy class here for a few weeks and have really enjoyed the process. The instructors are warm and friendly, coaching with clear directions to call out the artist in even extreme 'left-brainy folks' like me. The class is small, making for an intimate class setting where no one ever gets lost. All of the materials are provided, meaning all you have to do is show up with a sense of adventure and a creative spirit.
