I went in today to the store for my first time and did manage to find a lovely cocktail dress; however, was put off by the sales assistants in the store, who did not manage to greet me as soon as I stepped in the door. Furthermore, once I picked out two dresses to try on, one of the sales assistants approached me and said that she had larger sizes in the back of the store before I even tried on the item ! Trying not to be offended, I said I would like to try a size medium, in addition to the small sizes that I had in my hand!
What was even more off-putting was that they only had size small on every display stand! Needless to say, I don't think I'll be visiting the store again. I felt like I was being discriminated against because I vary between a size small and medium and felt very self-conscious about my body upon leaving that store! read more
