Hi..we used atlas for a 7 day/2 person trip in October,which took us to Oban, Arisaig, Skye,…read moreInverness, Aviemore & finally to the stunning loch Tummel..(quite an adventure considering that we'd pre-booked our rental in august and i had a rather big, unexpected heart attack the following week!!)..so with some reservations regarding my health/physical capabilities,we decided to continue with our holiday..we rented a Toyota granvia camper which was perfectly comfortable for two of us...it was fantastically well equipped to meet our requirements, which allowed us to cook fantastic food and get a really comfy,good nights sleep...and a great "base camp" on the move, to allow us to go out exploring!! The camper had a 3 ltr turbo Diesel engine which ran like an absolute dream,handled brilliantly and was pleasantly economical...all of the appliances worked brilliantly, we had plenty of lighting,a wicked little double hob & a great fridge for the bacon and beer..it also had a pop-up roof which was great for extra headroom.. I would recommend atlas to anyone considering a camper trip in Scotland because for me and my girlfriend, it was the quality of service given (right down to the crockery,cutlery,wine bottle opener and even a free loan of an awesome campsite map!!) that helped make our trip such an amazing one!!! Roseisle is the best!!!…read more After planning our first trip to Scotland, the wife and I wanted to do something a little bit out of our comfort zone...drive in a country we've never been to, on the other side of the road! After hours of research for the best motorhome hire companies, I kept coming back to Roseisle. The entire experience, even before starting the caravan up, was exceptional. The staff graciously picked us up from the nearby train station. Everyone we talked to made us feel like family and many laughs/jokes were exchanged. As for the caravan itself, it was easy to drive (once I got used to driving on the other side of the road). The Highlands of Scotland were magical, and Roseisle assisted us with being able to explore. When we return, we will no doubt hire Roseisle again. Cheers!

They talked us through how everything worked and gave us helpful tips before we left. We were also provided with the staff's mobile numbers so you can contact them at any time with questions, which was very reassuring. The vehicle we hired was the Skye, it was spotlessly clean and came with everything we needed for our trip, the perfect vehicle for a couple of adults to travel around Scotland in. We really enjoyed our time in the motorhome and highly recommend Motorhome Escapes. We'll definitely hire from them in future!

This company is very suspect. I'm not sure they insure their…read moreRV's at all. We had the misfortune to organise a 1 week rental from Australia; complied with all the requirements, paid the full amount of rental and looked forward to our trip. 2 days before pick up we received an email asking us for a rates notice or phone bill for our Australian address - not really the things you take when travelling. Explained this to the proprietor who asked if someone could go to our home and retrieve these items! We convinced him that wasn't possible. The insurance excess went up 20% from the stated T & C's. When we asked why we're told, "some people steal these RV's and they end up in Spain" WTF??? Had an accident and they simply would not give us a copy of the repair quotes, the name of the assessor, the name of their insurers and treated us with total disdain. Which makes us think either a/ the RV's are not ensured and b/. in our case the cost of repairs was substantially less than the 1200 pounds Motor Home Escapes pocketed. Please ask to see the insurance policy and make sure it's current. Confirm the ACTUAL excess. Check the crockery, cutlery and kitchen pots and pans and towels......we had to return to get them to replace them - they were used and tawdry. Other companies are far more professional than this mob.

They threw in a bottle of champagne and the driver was courteous and the perfect gentleman. There was no messing about, no hidden or extra charges. I can't recommend these guys enough if you're looking for a fun way to travel!
