I just purchased the Phrike in the last week and again, the quality is amazing. The knives are a bit pricey but to get a really good knife that will stand up to rigorous use is worth paying for it. The customer service here is amazing as well. I ordered my knife online and time was taken to write a personal thank you note on the invoice before it was shipped out to me. You can't find places that do this very often. As a veteran I am proud to support a veteran owned business like spartan blades, especially since they make quality cutting tools for everyday use and for combat. To paraphrase Dire Straits, "He'll do everything for you..." He's a good teacher. An expert in repair and on equipment. He remembers customer names. He goes the extra mile. Example? Two of my iron shafts snapped recently beneath their grips. Happened about two months apart. They had rusted. For the second repair, Kevin contacted the manufacturer, got the new shaft, and repaired it without charge. Now....who's going to do that for you at a chain store? Great place. They'll take good care of you and make you feel at home.

I was going to spend almost $700 on a new pistol and ammunition, but they only had one of the particular model I wanted and it was the wrong variation. That wasn't even an issue for me, but when I asked about ordering the one I wanted, it wasn't an option. I thought that was odd, but I guess they didn't need the business and I wasn't going to argue. He is so rude to his customers it is shocking. This time it was to someone else while I stepped into his business, he was yelling at a woman and making her cry. It was unbelievable needless to say, I walked out, not supporting his establishment at all. I hope a family member of his reads this and considers getting him help, get him away from the public before he hurts someone!
