With my heart set on checking out that SWEET Hi-Point pistol I saw here this time last year, my dreams were dashed with not being able to gas up my car, vent my bladder and buy a handgun all at the same time. Sadly, this scratches off a star in my review, but don't let this stop you from visiting Arrows III when passing through Lafayette Indiana.

The ammo selection was pathetic. There was very loud music playing in the store and the outdoor section supervisor provided absolutely no help, not even a nod or grunt. This may be one of those "locals only" hangouts. I won't be back.

This year the lights started flickering and was not adjustable. Oped it up and found the yellow wire had broken off at the battery pack adjustment. I figured I'd contact them to see if they did repairs. Not warranty. Just a paid repair. I called. I emailed. I tried both again. Nothing. I looked for a manual or their wrbsite. The website is mostly non functional. Url is ".us" instead of ".com." Useless website. Useless phone and email system. Don't expect any factory representation if there's a problem. Regret ever buying the thing.

I knew what I was after and a couple of employees popped over and took care of me right away, but made sure that I left feeling like I was a friend who needed to come back and look around more. NOT the old school "grumpy gus" gun store - nice, clean, professional, well-stocked and well-priced. Probably a good thing I don't live nearby, because I'd be here a LOT.
