Finding a podiatrist who actually takes insurance is a fool's errand. And yet, after calling dozens…read moreof numbers, I managed to find Dr. Eisenman, who is so wonderful that she's worth every penny, even if she didn't take my insurance (but I'm glad she does). Really thorough and excellent treatment, but also very kind and lovely as a person, which I find comforting in any doctor. Backstory - I've had flat feet ever since I was a kid, but it was only when I was in my 20s that I really started paying attention to it. After reading a few scary articles about the extreme consequences of not getting the condition treated by a podiatrist, I made an appointment and got my first pair of orthotics. Fast forward 10 years - I've been doing a lot of walking during the COVID19 pandemic to avoid public transit, and it quickly became obvious that my orthotics were completely worn out. After finally managing to find and get an appointment with Dr. Eisenman, I I was first impressed by how conscientious her office is about COVID19 safety measures. Then during the appointment, she went over my history, assessed just how low my arches were (essentially nonexistent), and tested my foot and leg muscle strength. Then she used specialized computer scanning technology to get me fitted for orthotics that would be appropriate for my walking pattern. The first podiatrist I went to definitely didn't have anything that fancy! Three weeks later I went back and picked up my new orthotics. Insurance doesn't cover those, but if they last me another 10 years, definitely worth it. Super happy with Dr. Eisenman's work, highly recommend her for all pediatric needs!

Dr. Eisenman is a wonderful podiatrist and i have had, and continue to have great care. However,…read moreshe sold her practice and is now an employee of a Reading based company called Health One. She had fitted me for orthotics before the sale. I needed a minor adjustment after the sale. She made a minor adjustment on the orthodic which took her less than a minute. I was charged $121. When I called the practice to ask about the charge, I was told by a very rude representative that if I see the doctor for even one minute, the charge is for a full office visit.

Genuinely the worst doctor's office I have ever experienced. The office was disgusting and dirty,…read morethe staff were eating full meals in the reception area while checking me in for my visit. The doctor tried to sell me hundreds of dollars worth of insoles, medications, sprays, etc and told me none of it would be covered by insurance. When I questioned if I really needed the medication, she got extremely rude and defensive. Genuinely I don't understand how there are not more negative reviews of this place. Stay away if you can!

So many reasons NOT to go to Dr. Nguyen…read more.. 1. Removed an ingrown toenail in both big toes without numbing me or preparing me for the excruciating pain that was to come. I asked her to numb me and she told me numbing it would hurt even more. The procedure she did was not one that would stop ingrown toenails from coming back. (My new podiatrist explained to t to me.) It's a temporary fix, which means I may have to have the procedure again. This time it will be done properly and with numbing! 2. She sent the sample out from my ingrown toenails and they results came back with a positive result for a fungus in. It's toes. She refused to treat me for the fungus. She told me if I keep getting pedicures the fungus won't go away. I found out that was false information from the podiatrist that I went to for a second opinion. 3. She and her nurse are blunt and rude! I am thankful to have found a new podiatrist that can help my feet heal!

First, he's a huge fan of treating foot problems without surgery. This is a Good Thing, because operations on the foot can cause all sorts of complications! Second, unlike most podiatrists, if you get orthotics, he doesn't just hand you a pair and send you on your way--if you continue to have problems, he'll have you back in a week or two and see about making adjustments. For me, this was crucial. Third, unlike most doctors, it's not just him treating you. He has a common area and a small army of nurses who help with treatment as well. This reduces the wait time for an appointment. Most of my appointments take less than an hour from entering the office to leaving it. A more specific story about non-surgical treatment--many years ago I had a morton's neuroma (pinched nerve) in my foot which was resolved. But about 2 months ago, it came back! I set up an appointment with Dr. Diamond, and because it was not too severe, he was able to treat it with acupuncture. After 3 sessions over the last two weeks, I am feeling much better and no longer walking with a limp! 6/5 stars.
