HORRIBLE!!!!!my cousin who is 9 was scheduled for a couple appt ahead of time by her mother who…read morepassed away and we had to find placement for her which means we are unaware of here appts. when we found out we tried to schedule and inform them of what was going on and why she missed those appointment. they lacked compassion for the child and refused to accommodate and told her she wasn't able to return. she has been through so many changes and was comfortable with them. however the way they treated her and not care or show empathy was very disheartening. i tried for myself and unfortunately i had a accident the day of my appointment and had to reschedule. i was told my new appointment was at 940 while preparing to go i get a call at 907 that i missed my appointment and they will not be able to see me EVER! the office manager was EXTREMELY RUDE. she didn't care to try and understand the miscommunication or try to be accommodating. The decision was solely hers based off what she said and she could careless to what happened she will not be seeing me in their office. i was definitely confused because of the tone and hostility in her voice. she spoke to me as if i was illiterate because i was trying to understand why she was refusing to see me because i had to reschedule. i'm happy there are people who have had different experiences but mines was far from theirs and i'm hurt and disappointed. However, once I stated that a previous dentist diagnosed me with an oral condition that's common amongst African-American women (periapical cemento-osseous dysplasia), He referred to me as "the Blacks". I could not believe my ears, and I know the dental hygienist also heard him say it. As the visit ended, he asked me if I had "any questions or dumb looks"? Once again, I could not believe what he said! I did not confront Dr. Cooner about anything he said. Instead, I spoke to two women who worked in the business office. They mentioned that "usually he's pretty good" and I was given a dental whitening kit for my troubles. After pondering the situation, I still felt uncomfortable. Consequently, I decided to take my business elsewhere and requested my dental records. As I was reading my dental document, I saw that the "professional", Dr. Cooner, insulted me again by calling me names. Attached is what he wrote in my dental record. Perhaps he was having a bad day. Nevertheless, due to his gross immorality and disrespectful nature, Dr. Leslie Cooner needs to take a course on cultural competence and social etiquette.

Needless to say I was nervous and embarrassed to visit but I had no choice but to do so. Oh my goodness. The kindness and respect shown to me was over the top. They made me feel like family on first visit with zero judgment on my teeth condition.

I do not recommend this dentist. This work started in Jan, 2025. It's now May. No calls from him or his office. It shows a lack of caring about me. Medicare's Dental program only allows crowns every 5 years. Worst dentist I've ever dealt with.

The office staff are helpful and friendly, the hygienists are gentle (proving what I've always suspected - that savaging someone's gums is not an integral part of teeth-cleaning), and Dr. Cruse is a hoot. I have sensitive teeth and my former dentists have always had to give me more than one dose of Novocaine before starting in on any procedures. Not only does Dr. Cruse not have to use more than one dose - presumably because he's hitting exactly the right nerve the first time - but he's also the only dentist I've ever had who can administer Novocaine painlessly. Since becoming a patient here, I've referred several friends to the practice and they all love it!

I told her that I had a purple bruise under my tongue and she insisted she did not do that. now I have either and ulcer or Kanker sore where she jammed the numbing needle(with no warning nor carefulness) shes not very careful and seemed rushing and careless. I don't think she cared for me as a patient and I remained silent because she seemed very irritated and I didn't want to upset her anymore. my mouth is hurting worse than ever and I don't think she would even take accountability if I showed her my mouth. mind you it's a tiny tooth in the front bottom row, you would think it was easy. I wouldn't trust her for more work. she was also training her cousin. and still didn't finish after 3 hours ( she claimed technical difficulties.) Debbie was great. Crystal was not.
