Ordered gluten free meal due to being celiac and was served chips fried in a general fryer. Manager rude and doesn't understand that chips fried in a general fryer is not gluten free and not safe for someone with celiac. Definitely needs better education for staff! We ended up with an pricy inedible meal. read more

Their wings was off the chart. Im from the USA and was here for military work. Stopped here a few drinks and wings. Staff very friendly and nice. Chef is an awesome guy very polite people. I would definitely come here again if I get a chance to visit again. read more

The specials are good, especially the ribs on Wednesdays. Very full of flavor and nice sized meal. The ambience is good w.r.t Gladstone area. The staff is fairly friendly. The worst thing about this place is that no one knows how to cook a steak. It doesn't matter what you say (medium/rare/well done) it will always come out sort of an average medium well done. Having said that with the giant screens and easy access to pub it's one of the better places around. read more

Had a few $50 gift vouchers so thought we would go for a couple of drinks and dinner using them. Staff didn't know what to do with vouchers and had to stand around each time for a while to get it sorted. Went on a Monday night - so was pretty cheap for drinks compared to busier nights. Ordered a meal and was asked if we had a reservation - which we didn't. The young girl pretty much told us that she didn't want to bother with upstairs in the main dining area (we could see spare tables) and were told that we had to eat in the main pub area. Once our beeper went off (if we were up stairs they deliver the food) we walked up stairs anyway as there were spare tables everywhere - we asked one of the waitresses if we could take one of the booths and she said it was fine. Soon after a couple came up stairs and said to the staff that they were told to take the booth we were in (still spare booths and tables everywhere). The young girl that wouldn't give us a proper table (but was willing to organise it for others) then freaked out. Another waitress then said what tables were free and the couple sat there. I was then asked if we were told we could sit there. Obviously we were - but at the same time - there were tables everywhere! Apart from that - the food was nice. Quality is a few steps up from normal general pub food and decently priced for what was on offer. read more

I had high expectations from the food here, and they lived up to it!! I had chicken schnitzel and my husband had steak. I'm always sceptical if I order chicken and mostly it fails my expectations. For the first time in Gladstone, I was satisfied with my chicken. Most restaurants tend to serve chicken breast that over cook and turn dry, or there's not enough seasoning or sauce. This one was perfect! Moist from the inside and crispy from the outside. Perfect seasoning and the sauce was excellent! My husband also enjoyed his steak a lot. For dessert we had macadamia tart. Melt in the mouth treat. It was the perfect way to end our dinner. The place has good family crowd and there's a little indoor play ground for the kids with cameras inside to monitor the kids while you have your food. We don't have kids yet, but if we did, it would be great to keep an eye out for them while we ate. Only small issue we had was with the server. She was a little slow and non attentive. But hey, the food was great. Try it out if you're around the place!

The staff were all friendly and made sure we were happy. There was a great atmostphere with lovely paintings and wasnt too loud. The price was acceptable, for a small family of 3, we paid just under $60 and walked out stuffed. Definatly recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere nice to relax and eat! Will be coming back next time im in town!!
