BLUF: Tammy is the best photographer in town. She is professional, patient, flexible, and…read morecompetent, which is reflected in her work. We hired Tammy for maternity and post-maternity family photos. The end results were amazing! She has a studio in downtown Leavenworth but she also spends equal, if not more, Amount of time conducting "nature" or "natural" shots around various parts of the town. My wife and I were thrilled with the results and we love the photos that she took. Tammy and her team were also very patient with our kids, who can be very rambunctious at times. She took the time to explain what she was doing, gave the kids some time to relax and adjust, and provided words of encouragement in order to get the best shots possible. The photo shoots in itself was a great experience. They were 180' degree to the typical "Super-megastore" or mall photo shoots where you just pose for one or two positions and push print. If you want to make and keep memories, and ensure they are captured in the most perfect way... Come by Tammy's Patton Portraits, you won't regret it.

Candy and Nikki are AMAZING at hair, makeup and posing help, and I pretty much haven't felt so cute in like 20 years. Whether you want to do retro pin-up pics or something a little racier, they will work hard to set you up for success and give you what you need to look incredible. I wondered if I shouldn't be closer to that elusive goal weight before I went, but the bottom line is that it made zero difference and thanks to these lovely ladies and their assist, the pics are super flattering anyway! Thank you Candy and Nikki!!!

I saw this page and went "screw business portraits, I wanna take photos of myself in a push-up bra!" I regret nothing. They provide the makeup and clothing, which is one of the reasons I went with them instead of another studio. You can bring props with you if you know what kind of photos you want, but all you really have to do is show up. And they mean it when they say they have every shade of foundation under the rainbow. I'm black, so my past experience with finding makeup that matches my skin tone has been frustrating, but Candy found my shade really fast. And both of them are good at guessing dress size, too. They walked away, came back with a rack full of options, and virtually everything I tried on fit. Nikki walks you through the poses as you're shooting. Just mirror what she does with a big smile, and the pictures come out awesome. I usually cringe whenever I see my face in a picture, but I stare at these photos all the time. I look awesome. I now have proof I'm adorable.

We took the bait, $150 for 10 minutes. On the day of the outdoor shoot it was foggy but he assured us with the proper filters on his camera they would look fine. We were allowed to select 5 photos out of a minimal amount, perhaps 15-20. All were garbage, unusable without extensive editing on my part. The photo shoot took no more that 2-3 minutes. It just irritates me that someone who are supposedly professional would put out such a poor product. My fault for being duped. As you can see even the insignias were blurred. Such a shame.

The class was pretty good size for this intro class he calls "What The....?" Most of us knew how to use the camera, but mostly in Auto mode. He taught us about fstops/aperatures, focusing, lenses, light, etc. Jason was very well verses in most if not all the cameras that each person had brought with them and knew the settings off the top of his head. I thought this class would be a snoozer, but Jason had a way to bring everything alive. Got a question? Pipe in and ask it or stay after class to pick his brain as long as you want. He has tons of energy and explains it quite well. Though it was one 2 hour class, he was happy to help us in the future if we have followup questions, which was quite unusual. Anyhow, this class was quite refreshing and I plan to take another class with him and tag along for some photo shoots. Now, I've got the courage to take the time to practice and use the program and manual modes more often, to get those crisp shots. Thanks, Jason!
