There´s a big selection of Mexico related books here, everything from architecture, cooking, design, decoration, history & everything related to Mexico, there´s even kids books available all related again to mexican culture. I love the salads, the hummos, and guacamole -- sure, you can get these in other restaurants but at La Jicara, the quality and freshness are assured. The people who run the restaurant, the manager and servers are all so nice and even when super busy always take care of customers. They also have a really lovely shop where I bought the most beautiful and unique pottery, a bookstore and a health food store. I highly recommend. :)

There's really nice options for kids of all ages. My son's favourite are the ones from Disney and any books that has sounds. There's even a little place where you can sit and go thru a book and decide if it's what you're looking for. The employees are very helpful, whenever I'm looking for a book they're more than happy to look in their database to make sure they have it available and where. Bring your parking ticket to get it stamped and have a discount.
